To the revenant Ogun state labour agency it may concern

Good morning

We the general workers in Ogun state private companies are using this platform to express our grievances as regard the way we are being treated as what can be called in simple terms modern slavery.

First of all, minimum wage is not paid, no incentives for worker, no medical treatment, we sleep in a room where there is no bed, no good water to drink, no bonus, no overtime payment and get bitten by mosquitoes every night.

Secondly, we work from 7am to 7pm everyday, Mondays to Saturdays apart from public holidays and Sundays and the work load is just too much, we don't even know the specific role of job you were employed upon, you are called at any time to do jobs that may not fit your mental and health status especially when you are working with indians and china's.

Pls we are calling on the Ogun state labour force as a matter of urgency to look into this case and do the needful as soon as possible to avert any possible break down of law and order.

It's a pity we don't have any labour law in Nigeria. They are as good as just a mere letters of the alphabets on a tissue paper.

The labour agencies that supposed to check exploitation are more in solidarity with the employers than the employees.

To worsen matters, the near absence of jobs emboldened the employers to take advantage of the people. You hardly can have alternative and so forced to accept it or go home.

It'll take time to heal
