TOPIC: Intercession

Scripture:
"Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us". Romans 8:34

*Message*

There are very good reasons intercession should become part of us. Our Lord Jesus, despite being Who He is in glory, continues engaging the ministry of intercession.

"Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us". Romans 8:34

Hebrews 7:24-26 says:

"But He, because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood. Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. For such a High Priest was fitting for us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and has become higher than the heavens"

Additionally, the Holy Spirit is an Intercessor. It was written of Him in Romans 8:26 -

"Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered."

Therefore, don't be part of those who felt serious intercession is just for some selected few. While there are certain people who are directly called into a higher calling of an Intercessor (secret dwellers that generates energy to open territorial operations and make it a reality), every believer is required to give great priority to intercession, since we are priests to God.

*Prayer*
In the Name of Jesus, I'm strengthened to conduct effective intercession as a priest to God.
