A young man identified simply as Mr. Princewill lost his life to vandalism in Akwa Ibom state.

It was gathered that the tragic incident took place at Party House Road, opposite St. Stephen Catholic Church, Ikot Ibiok.

Eyewitnesses stated that the deceased dead after he attempted to vandalize the transformer in the area.

The residents of the area said:

“This is the most challenging issue we face on a daily basis, yet PHED staff are often unfairly accused. It’s unfortunate that Mr. Princewill’s actions led to this tragic outcome. May his soul rest in peace.”

People have been vandalising transformers and indulging in such criminal acts of sabotage long before it ever crossed Tinubu’s mind to run for President.
