Hello Nlanders, sometime February this year i went to run some random test on myself, i did infection test and also SFA ( seminal Fluid Analysis)
At a reputable Lab, and the result of the infaction came out Negative and also the SFA result was reading 15million sperm count,

Fast forward to two weeks ago i went to one government hospital to run the SFA test and went to collect the result this time the result says my sperm count is 3million, which is very poor and low, pls what could possibly gone wrong? Is it that there was a mistake in the lab test? Cuz honestly i don't accept the General hopital test, am planing ob going to another lab to run the test again

The value above, is it total sperm count or for concentration per Mililtre?


Firstly, the calculation is subject to the scientist's evaluation. Scientist A evaluation might slightly be different from scientist B evaluation.

Also, I referred someone to a test a while ago. The laboratory said there was no infection but patient was complaining. I again referred the patient to do Another HVS in a different lab and this time there was a culprit ( an organism was found).
But the bottom line is, you have to take your health seriously. Eat go food, avoid drugs, cigarettes, alcohol and tight fitting pants/boxers.
