~~~Daily Spiritual Digest~~~ ________________________________ [22-06-2025] Focus: Taking Risks WORD FOR TODAY !All risk takers are lonely people. Others will only come around when they succeed. In every move of destiny, there comes a season when taking a risk is the only door to forward movement. The kingdom of God thrives on faith-inspired obedience, even when the path ahead is unclear or lonely! **************************************** Scriptural Reference "Cast your bread upon the waters, for you will find it after many days." — Ecclesiastes 11:1 (NKJV) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In the journey of destiny, risk is inevitable, and often necessary. Many people desire greatness but are unwilling to step into the unknown. Yet, throughout Scripture, we see that the people who made the greatest impact were those who were willing to take risks inspired by faith; even when they felt alone. David was a young shepherd with no experience in warfare, yet he dared to face the seasoned giant, Goliath. Armed only with a sling and stones, he risked his life while others in Saul’s army trembled in fear. His victory was not in his skill but in his bold faith in God's power (1 Samuel 17:32–50). That one risk turned him from obscurity into a national hero and eventually into a king. Bold faith in God can turn great risks into great victories. Esther, a queen in a foreign land, risked her life by approaching King Ahasuerus uninvited to plead for the Jews. The law could have condemned her to death, but her courage to stand for a righteous cause opened the door for divine intervention (Esther 4:10–17; 5:1–3). Her bravery saved a nation. Courage for a righteous cause often opens the door for divine deliverance. Ruth, a Moabite widow, followed Naomi into an unfamiliar land with no promise of provision or future security. She left behind her culture, her people, and her comfort. But her sacrificial loyalty was rewarded with divine favour, marriage to Boaz, and a place in the lineage of Jesus Christ (Ruth 1:16–17; 4:13–17). Sacrificial faith positions you for generational blessing. The four lepers in 2 Kings 7 were considered outcasts. During a severe famine, they took a desperate step and entered the enemy’s camp, risking death. Instead, they found it deserted and were the first to discover the breakthrough that would save an entire city (2 Kings 7:3–10). Bold action, even in desperation, can unlock divine turnaround for many. These men took faith-inspired risks that aligned with God's purpose. While risk may separate you from the crowd, when it is driven by obedience and trust in God, it leads to extraordinary outcomes. Do not fear being alone at the start; many will join you when the results manifest. Question for Meditation: What is God asking me to risk in faith today? Am I willing to step out, even if it means walking alone? Lord, give me the courage to take bold steps of faith. Let me not be paralyzed by fear or isolation. Help me to recognize the risks You are calling me to take and to trust that You go with me. May my obedience open doors for divine breakthroughs and generational blessings. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Main Emphasis: Faith requires risk, and risk births reward. When aligned with God's will, your bold steps will not only change your story; they'll impact generations. May your faith be bold, your walk be fearless, and your risk be rewarded with divine favour. Amen. |
