I would say Teaching profession.

Gone are the days people used to Respect and admire Teachers. Today, teachers are the Most Mistreated, disrespected and neglected profession especially in Nigeria.
Ladies are unwilling to get married to a man who is a teacher because they are perceived as being poor and always broke. Teachers aren't sufficiently renumerated in today's Nigeria.

Secondly, I think Law. Lawyers are now called "Charge and Bail".

The legal profession. Since the advent of APC and the dipso in Abuja, Nigeria 🇳🇬 judiciary is now a complete circus 🤹‍♂️ 🎪 of clowns... The most hilarious is that an average lawyer is no longer well paid, most don't even receive the minimum wage as salaries.

A well reduced profession now dancing to the judgement of the highest bidder. cool

No decorum, No Professionalism, No Content.

Secondly, is Clergy job of the Christian faith.
Although not a profession as earlier purported but a "Calling"..
Nowadays, criminals are called by the same " ? god", with such believed to extend to their sons and wives for the sustenance of financial empire.

Lastly, is the Police profession, although I can't remember if it was ever respected, adored or reverred, ab initio, hence the reason for the colossal thuggish recruitments.

Teaching! When someone asks about your job or profession and you reply that I'm a teacher, you are likely to be considered less fortunate and somewhat poor. Albeit, I like saying I work as a teacher even though teaching is not my main source of income.
