What happened was unfortunate, but the US should do something about their gun laws.

I actually don't have a problem with shotguns for basic home defense and handguns [Berettas, Glocks] for concealed carry outdoors. If you invade my house to steal or kill me I should at least try to blast your head clean off. If you try to rob me in traffic, you deserve some lead too. But WTF is somebody doing with full military grade assault rifles capable of firing standard NATO rounds, sniper rifles with a range of 2 kms in the name of gun rights. Weapons that belong on the battlefield. Baffles me.
