About this time in 2019, a NG person murdered, burnt, and buried the body of a young girl in Utah, USA. He is serving a life sentence without the possibility of release, meaning he will die in jail. I know this person personally. His mother was a white garment church leader in Osun State, NG. Apart from the Underwear Bomber case, that incidence is arguably the most heinous single crime ever committed by a NGnian in diaspora. Abike Dabiri was then, and still, in charge of Diaspora matters. It would be nice to know what she thought about it. Copied https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_of_Mackenzie_Lueck

The time you spend calling Abike Dabiri out should used to sensitize those Eastern folks in diaspora pushing drugs. They aren't the only set of people marginalised in Nigeria, neither are they the only people inclined to criminality. Every human is inclined to crimes; we just remember our family names and what we stand for, and exercise restraint in the face of financial difficulties. It's high time we started calling a spade a spade. This whataboutism won't take anybody anywhere. Perhaps you people want things to escalate to a point where those countries are able to study the pattern and realise that those people pushing drugs outside Nigeria come from one region and start denying every visa applicant from the region a visa before you realise the degree of damage they are causing. |

He should be kept with the underwear guy AbdulMutallab so they can be reminiscing about Nigeria and how they plan to escape since there’s no parole for them. All they need is disappearance powder so they can come home and contest election. |

He's neither the first nor the last criminal that'll come out of Nigeria or the world. His case is a one-off and not a systemic issue. He did not belong to a syndicate, and acted alone. His act hurts our image, yet it is isolated. Nothing to see here. |

AAEEI:You don't get it or do you? Nobody is going to defend this criminal or make excuses for him or blame Abike for not pulling strings to get him out of jail. He did the crime and so he deserves to rot and die in prison where he is. Unlike you guys who first blame Nigeria for your people going into crime , deny he or she was/is a criminal and then begin to blame Abike for not pulling them out of prison. This is where you guys differ from normal human beings. Did you guys not start a campaign on SM claiming Evans was innocent and was being framed by SARS who wanted to collect his billions? Did you guys not claim the ladipo kidnappers were innocent and were framed by the police? Some of you even said th ey were acting a movie on the street and that police mistook them for armed robbers. Others said they were arrested innocent IBO traders whom the police had tortured and later killed only to frame them as armed robbers. Your problem is you don't get it and sadly may never get it. |

DomPerignon:Nigerians get it. There are some very evil people in Nigeria who out of jealousy, insecurity, hate and envy, have made it a lifelong goal to try to paint a section of Nigeria in bad light. They have been doing this for decades using traditional media because many of them owned traditional media outlets, until social media exposed them. If someone from their tribe commits a crime, they claim it’s an isolated incident when even their political icon was a heroin trafficker, but if someone from a specific tribe commits a crime, they falsely attribute the crime to an entire region. Nigerians get it. |

Wait... You went to dig up a crime that happened in 2019 just to start a tribal war and probably tackle Dabiri? Really? Lol. He even said it's the most heinous crime by a Nigerian in diaspora after Muttalab's. I give up mehn. |

The reasoning and mentality of some of you guys bring shame to the silent majority of you that are reasonable. You will hardly find any Yoruba trying to justify crimes committed by some Yoruba criminals. What section of the country commits domestic killing most? Mainly because you paid heavy dowry, send her to school and bring her abroad to collect her paychecks otherwise you kill her? So Abike must respond to selective old newspaper crimes because she got tired and embarrassed for saving from death penalty every month. Ndi ara |

givedemwotowoto:it is worthwhile to justify why for every family, there should be a drug peddler…your children are at risk cos you don’t know which one of them will be initiated |
| Re: The Second "Greatest" Nigerian In Diaspora by givedemwotowoto: 4:09pm On Sep 15, 2025 |
Lanretoye:That's the statistic of someone who has hardly traveled outside of their state. What you said is like someone saying every person from a certain part of the country has a ritual murderer in their family and that it's part of their culture. You people don't even think about some of the nonsense you say, whether it makes sense. Like I said, envy, hate, poverty, and media projection by malicious people like Abike, Bayo, and Reno are the reasons why these things continue to be the discussion of the day while corruption festers. |

PulaPower:What OP did is literally what over 90% of Tinubu supporters do on this forum. In fact, they have been doing this for decades. It's deep rooted even to the top and most elite of their political leadership. |

DomPerignon:There is a Yoruba Oba in prison in the US for drug trafficking. Tinubu also trafficked drug. Gbajabiamila was debarred in the US for fraud. Did you know all these? |
