The concept of "evil" has perplexed human thought for centuries, with philosophers, theologians, and scholars of various disciplines attempting to understand its origin. The question of where evil comes from—whether it is inherent in human nature, a result of societal influences, or a force external to humanity—has given rise to a broad spectrum of theories. In examining the origin of evil, it is essential to explore the views offered by religion, philosophy, and psychology. Together, these perspectives offer a complex and multifaceted understanding of the forces that contribute to the manifestation of evil in the world.

The Obudu Mountain resort is a state-owned asset of Cross Rivers State. What has it's rundown condition fo got to do with Tinubu or where he chooses to holiday? You'll soon be here shouting Tinubu when you get Malaria. |

Why are you blaming Tinubu for Obudu cattle Ranch's situation, please you should know that Obudu cattle Ranch was destroyed by EndSars protesters in 2020 or 2021, please channel your blame to our late President Buhari. SeraphicWind: |

Like I always say... It's not enough to only have brain, it's profitable to know how to use it as well. I hope you won't blame Tinubu when you're unable to impregnate your wife. Attributing the failure of a state owned venture to the federal government is beyond stupid. Like I always say, hatred in the heart never ends well. Your friends and those around you will do well to avoid you with the amount of negativity oozing from you. Nigeria will work again, whether with Tinubu or someone else. That's all that matters to some of us. I won't waste my energy breeding hatred and destroying my soul all because I don't like someone whom God in his wisdom has placed over me when I can easily spread positivity with the same effort. |

Many are missing the point of the thread. Obudu Cattle ranch died because of lack of patronage and no maintenance. People rather go to Dubai and Paris than go to Obudu cattle ranch! Why do they do it? They are emulating your Banza leaders! |

SeraphicWind:You are still confusing yourself. Your comment shows Nigerians have the money but choose to spend it somewhere else other than the ranch. Is that now Tinubu's fault that the state government can't upgrade the place to world standard. Be literate in your thinking now! |

If you make the place attractive enough, people would patronise! There are other resorts that enjoys patronages. Ogere resort on Lagos - Ibadan express road enjoys patronage from people near and far and that has nothing to do with the president (I doubt even if the President knows it exist). It is simply because they have persistently make the place attractive and alive to weather the storms! In the least blame the new state government, and not Tinubu. |

A state owned business is what you are blaming the presidency for? Was president Tinubu the president when the ranch was opened? This una lumping of president Tinubu to unnecessary things are no longer making any sense |
| Re: On The Origin Of Evil by Aydot99(m): 8:38am On Sep 18, 2025 |
I'm no fan of president Tinubu and you can blame him for a lot of things but the state that this once beautiful OBUDU CATTLE RANCH is in right now is not the president's fault. There are countries that depends mainly on tourist attractions like this but our useless g overnors that only rely on federal allocation will rather sit and be commissioning wheel barrows for farmers |
| Re: On The Origin Of Evil by seunjungle1(m): 8:53am On Sep 18, 2025 |
This is exactly one of those comments that expose this set of people that they have no brain at all......they reason like their master Obi. Why can't Lagos State abandon all the state properties that were destroyed during the End sars protest and be waiting for federal govt to come and resurrect them. He talks exactly like Obi. |
| Re: On The Origin Of Evil by AsabaPropertyAg(m): 9:56am On Sep 18, 2025 |
Please do your research, it was during Endsars protest the indigenes vandalized the property, the Obudu Cattle Ranch was not functioning well before the indigenes attack. Jokerman: |
| Re: On The Origin Of Evil by Mirasteel: 10:54am On Sep 18, 2025 |
SeraphicWind:Obudu started deteriorating even when Jonathan was president and it's a state owned resort, don't blame Tinubu, blame the state government instead for neglect instead. Donald Duke would have transformed Cross river state if he was still the governor of the state. |

| Re: On The Origin Of Evil by WizardOfNG: 12:31pm On Sep 18, 2025 |
Mbanda:Look in the mirror to see everything you accuse others of. Tinubu does not have to holiday anywhere in Nigeria to provide example to anyone. It is you and OP who want to use anything , however senseless, to attack Tinubu. Ask those who know the UK here whether MPs, let alone the Prime Minister, take their holiday breaks at British resorts like Butlins. No they do not. They go to the South of France, Italy, Greece, USA etal. The central point all sophisticated, exposed and hardworking people would understand is that people do not wish to go on holiday where they live and work. They want to see other culture and have other experiences that will not remind them of home or their work for the length of their holiday. Yet I would not expect bitter and frustrated folks like the OP to appreciate this crucial concept that is the independent right of every adult including leaders of nations. Next , perhaps you will demand Tinubu go and drink beer at Peter Obi's beer factory to encourage Nigerians to drink more beer. |
| Re: On The Origin Of Evil by WizardOfNG: 1:06pm On Sep 18, 2025 |
SeraphicWind:Your addendum, a clear attempt to save face over your insincere gaslighting of PBAT, still makes no sense. Lack of patronage is on Nigerians and not leaders. Lack of maintenance is obviously on Nigerians too because profit from guest should pay for wages of workers and maintenance. Unless the State want to be paying upkeep for a resort Nigerians will not patronise. As I said to your co-travellers above, it is not on leaders to lead grown men and women ,by example, per the need for them to utilise leisure spots in a nation to improve their health and mental well-being. That is on every sensible adult who is supposed to value such of their own free will. Adults should themselves understand the need for relaxation, of various types ,as part of a healthy work/play balance. It is not something Tinubu is obligated to teach any adult. Nigerian's totally lack interest in leisure and relaxation as the rest of the world knows it. It was in the days of our parents, up to the year 2000 at most, that individuals and families made effort to visit Nigerian leisure spots. Such now holds no interest for the average adult, especially this aged 18 to 50, and this is not something even Jesus can inculcate in adult Nigerians let alone Tinubu. You that is even talking, have you visited Obudu, Olumo Rock, Osogbo grove, Badagry slave castle etc, etc, etc? What most Nigerians consider relaxation today is visit overcrowded beach to smoke, drink and 'pull'. Or nightclubs and bars. Even cheap hotels with cheap olosho na " nice relaxation" lol. Open a Museum or centre of culture and watch it die while your investment will vanish overnight. Only your sort and that misguide Mbanda chap will be blaming Tinubu for what Nigerians, to include families, lack as natural and innate culture today. Shows how dishonest you are. |
