Job Vacancy: Data Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Data Analyst to join our logistics firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for interpreting data, analyzing results, and providing insights that support business decision-making.

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:
• Collect, clean, and organize data from multiple sources.
• Interpret complex datasets and present findings through clear reports and dashboards.
• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to improve business performance.
• Work with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.
• Develop and maintain databases, data systems, and reporting tools.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently with large datasets.

Preferred Skills (added advantage):
• Experience with Python or R for data analysis.
• Background in business analytics or financial data analysis.

I can do it as a part time job. I am proficient with python and it’s frame work (jupyter notebook on anaconda), my sql, ms sql, for data scrapping using beautiful soup, data organisation using pandas data frame, py.plot for graphs, bars etc for visualizations. However, I am a maths teacher and would love to have it as a night job.
