The Managing Director of the South-South Development Commission, Ms. Usoro Akpabio, on Saturday, November 15, 2025 led a strong South-South delegation to the grand finale of the 34th Ikorodu Oga Festival, in Lagos, where her arrival drew warm applause from high-ranking dignitaries and traditional leaders.

Accompanied by board members Alh. Yusuf Rasaq and Hon. Bukola Braimoh, Ms. Akpabio stood out as one of the most notable female figures at the event.

The ceremony also featured the conferment of top traditional titles on leading public officials, including Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, Senator Abdul’Aziz Yari, and Accountant-General Ogunjimi Shamseldeen, alongside vibrant cultural displays that celebrated Ikorodu’s rich heritage.
