It started sometime last week when a strange number called. The caller wasn't coherent; he just mutter some indistinct words, expecting me to take the lead. When I didn't do as he expected, he ended the call. This was later followed by series of phone calls which ended the same pattern. I had to block the number.

A week later, he resumed the sick game with a different number, hidden this time around. This guy is frustrating my phone life. He literally called me up to 100 times. If I answer the call, he would say two unclear sentences, then end and call back. If I don't answer the call, he'd call again and again.

As someone that uses my phone Internet a lot, either having a meeting on my phone or doing other things that require Internet service, I'm completely frustrated. He once told me the game had just started.
Kindly advise me on how to deal with it. Is it possible to block a private number? Has anyone had a similar experience with such a persistent sick caller?

PS: I checked out the first number he called with on true caller, and saw that other people have had similar experience with the number.

Are you sure you aren’t owing loan sharks? The problem is he having lots of phone numbers. Try using truecaller to find out if he is using a unified name so it would be easier to report

I'm not owing anybody. A friend thinks someone is tracking, but I can't think of any reason I should be tracked.

The second number is hidden; I can't check it out on truecaller

Download call blacklist app and have peace of mind forever. I auto block all hidden and any number not stored on my phone. Any private or number I don't have on my phone is auto blocked.

Follow this steps to block unknown/hidden numbers if you are using any of tecno, infinix, Itel, etc.

Open your contact
Tap on settings at the top right corner
Click on Blocked or blocked numbers
Enable block unknown/hidden number
If he calls you with any known number add it to the blacklist.
