The average APC supporter often appears to lack independent thought, instead choosing to follow the whims of their leaders. A glaring example of this was when Tinubu rewarded Bwala, Reno, and other former critics with positions of power. Rather than criticizing him for it, they praised him as a "master strategist" for winning them over. This narrative was music to the ears of Tinubu's loyalists, who saw it as a clever move to bring his enemies closer.

However, when Sanwo-Olu and Omotosho, who could be considered as students of Tinubu's politics, applied the same tactic with the BRT lady, the narrative suddenly shifted. The same people who had praised Tinubu for his "strategic" moves turned on Sanwo-Olu and Omotosho, calling them weaklings for rewarding critics over loyal supporters. This blatant double standard raises questions about the consistency and critical thinking of APC supporters.

Why can't they be stable instead of blowing with the wind? Why do they apply different standards to different leaders, depending on their allegiance? This lack of consistency is a hallmark of blind loyalty, rather than genuine support for a cause or ideology.
It's very clear their primary concern is not the welfare of the people, but rather the fortunes of tinubu.

It's time for APC supporters to take a step back and reflect on their actions. Are they truly supporting the people, or are they just following a leader? The answer lies in their ability to hold their leaders to consistent standards, rather than applying different rules for different people. Only then can they truly claim to be working for the people, and not just for their own interests.
