ENUGU — The Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) has officially waded into the brewing scandal involving social media personality Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, confirming that a medical report she paraded as her own was a “clumsy forgery” stolen from a genuine cancer patient.

In a statement that has sent shockwaves through the digital space, the Delta State branch of the NMA revealed that the document Blessing CEO used to claim she was battling stage 4 breast cancer actually belonged to one Miss Deborah Mbara. The medical body noted that the clinical data in the report matched Mbara’s records exactly, but the personal details had been crudely altered to fit the influencer’s narrative.
