Operations Associate (Food Production)
Location: Omole, Lagos
Renumeration: ₦200,000 – ₦250,000 (Net)

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Associate to support daily production activities within a fast-growing healthy food and beverage company. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining quality standards, and supporting inventory and hygiene compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Production Support
Ensure raw materials are available and properly issued before production
Monitor daily production output and report any variances
Support supervisors in achieving daily production targets
Food Safety & Hygiene
Ensure compliance with food safety standards (HACCP principles, GMP)
Monitor hygiene practices of production staff
Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of equipment and production areas
Identify and report any contamination risks immediately

Inventory & Stock Control
Track raw material usage and minimize wastage
Assist with stock counts and inventory reconciliation
Quality Assurance
Monitor product quality during production processes
Ensure proper labelling and packaging standards are followed
Accurately document quality checks and production logs

Storage & Equipment Monitoring
Monitor temperature levels of chillers, freezers, and storage areas
Report any temperature deviations immediately
Ensure finished goods are stored properly to maintain freshness

General Support
Carry out other operational duties as assigned

Requirements
HND/BSc in Food Science, Microbiology, Business Administration, or a related field
1–2 years’ experience in food manufacturing or production environment
Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP)
Basic understanding of inventory management
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
