Nigerian-born music producer Teru Olaleye, popularly known as Cripsymixtee,k is continuing his ascent in the global music industry from his base in the United Arab Emirates, where he is helping to push Afrobeats and contemporary African sound to a wider international audience.

Olaleye, who hails from Surulere, Lagos, has built a growing cross-border career defined by versatility. His production catalogue spans Afrobeats, hip-hop, pop, highlife fusion and experimental sound, earning him collaborations with several notable Nigerian artists and recognition for his innovative approach to music creation.





His rising influence in the industry was first formally acknowledged in 2012 when he won the LXG Award for Best Producer of the Year in Lagos, highlighting him as one of the standout production talents of his generation.

Reflecting on his career journey, Cripsymixtee credited his Lagos upbringing for shaping his artistic identity, saying Surulere “formed my ear and my drive,” and reaffirmed his commitment to showcasing African talent on the global stage.
Now operating from Dubai’s expanding entertainment landscape, the producer continues to broaden his international footprint.
