The dice is cast and it has fallen on me. I have fallen into the category of 'the chosen'. Laden with responsibilities is this dice, and upon my shoulders they rest. The expectations of many is upon me, I've become a farmer, a sower, with so much lands to cultivate. On the lands weeds battle with crops. Some hope I succeed, Some are just watching, basically indifferent, while others silently hope I fail, so that they have justification for their rejection of me. Where is my stand? From where will my strength and Help come from? Humanly, this task is huge, even beyond the capabilities of an ordinary man, Leaving little or no tolerance for mistakes. Mistakes are almost unacceptable. I access my natural strength and weakness, And then I realize that my empowerment must be divine, if I must make headway. I believe in God, and his inclination to help men, I believe in men too, but only those gifted by God. My failure or success is dependent on the help I receive or not. I fret not, I will not lose hope. And then understanding came, I realize that no man owns any work on the earth. Any work a man does, no matter the calling is given to him. He's a field worker, who will account for the work given to him. And the master's delight is in his success. If he is gifted with understanding, he will request for tools that will help him do his job well. With this understanding, I dare to say, Help me Lord! ES
