Message to the Church – Part 86 (The Mercy of God) Mercy means forgiveness, that's showing compassion to those who have wronged us, even when it is intentional. The mercy of God is what He showed to us in John 3:16: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son…” Even while we were in sin, Christ died for us: “But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:  Therefore, we must always be ready to forgive others “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” (Ephesians 4:32) I encourage us to live in mercy and extend it to others.
