Which mistake! Without informing your political mentor you signed on to a project you should know your political mentor has to know about and approve before you join up and you claim it was a mistake!! It is either you are a betrayer and a traitor cast in the mould of an ingrate like Siminalayi Fubara or outrightly a reckless politician! Either way you cannot be trusted out there seeking the votes of the electorate on the platform of the political Party your action almost polarised and destroyed in Lagos. You should have the backwaters of the Party for now! Your action in refusing to step down for the favoured contestant now chosen to replace you further shows you up as a disloyal member of the political you belong to. I hope your party leaders have read to you your Miranda Rights seeing that you fell for the allure of Miranda!

Its better you say someone forged your signature than this weak statement. But who be Obasa sef na. Wetin. If he could get enough signatures that means hes not doing a good job. This position must be really sweet to be fighting to the finish, if Oga Obasa can fight , Oga Desmond too want to try his luck ... Both obasa, desmond all of them are greedy,lazy and inept na only them dey for Lagos? can't they do other jobs aside from politics it is high time all of them stepped down both obasa and desmond no constituency projects and achievement since they have being on the political seats same with abaribe in abia political office is no one father's company let others too occupy it.

We are saying the same thing in different ways. My point is that all of them in the Lagos state assembly and even the governor are beneficiaries of a skewed and crooked system of democracy called Baba sope,which literary translates to "Baba has spoken." None of them got into office through merit. They were the chosen ones. When Desmond Elliot was benefiting from this obnoxious system for three electoral sessions which translates to 12 solid years did he for one day complain? No he didn't because it favoured him.
On the other hand Obasa as the speaker is a force for the APC in Agege area of Lagos state. The forces that made him speaker,know the reason they placed him there to occupy that position. It was these forces that Elliot and Meranda tried to topple and overthrow through their impeachment process. Desmond Elliot tried to topple the same forces that gave him a seat in that assembly. It was tantamount to bitting the fingers that were feeding him. He played with fire and he got burnt.

Reason why I never liked this guy even when he was active in nollywood see how he is making it look like it's because he signed obasa impeachment paper is why he isn't supported for a re-election bid whereas it is
because of his non performance and achievement.For 12 years no tangible constituency project and he has been embezzling allowances, security votes etc he has been hiding under senator gbaja's infrastructure and constituency projects someone surulere people already vouched never to vote him for 3rd term in 2023 if not that gbaja and few other stake holders pled for him.
