Micro1 Interview Experience & Tips Needed (second Attempt) by donwily(op): 7:39pm On May 22
Hello everyone,

Please, I would really appreciate insights from anyone who has experience with Micro1 — either as an applicant, someone who passed their interview, or currently working with them.

I recently applied for the Office and Administrative Domains Specialist role and completed their AI interview process. Unfortunately, I didn’t meet the certification criteria this time. However, I’ve been given a second chance to retake the interview after one month, and I’m currently preparing to improve significantly before my next attempt.

I would like to ask:

- What was your experience during the interview process?
- What kind of questions were you asked?
- What do they really look out for in candidates?
- If you passed, what do you think made the difference?

Also, for those currently working with Micro1:

- What is the work structure like?
- How is the pay and workload?
- Any tips for someone trying to succeed on the platform?

I’m open to honest advice and practical tips. Thank you in advance for your help.

They usually send an email where you can get a feedback on what to work better on before reapplying

Thank you for the review.
Please, I have done the interview twice but the feedback was that I didn't meet up with their benchmark.
Can you please, enlighten me on what to do to pass in my next interview.

Below is their feedback about my performance:

Hi (my name),

Thank you for requesting feedback on your interview . Below is a detailed breakdown of your performance, highlighting your strengths and areas for improvement.

Strengths we noticed

You showed a strong foundation in business management by using structured problem-solving methods, such as identifying bottlenecks, gathering feedback, and verifying the impact of changes. Your focus on continuous improvement and operational leadership stands out as a real asset for driving results in a dynamic environment.
Your understanding of customer relationship health was well demonstrated by referencing practical metrics like churn, retention, CSAT, sales, and CAC. You also showcased a thoughtful approach to investigating customer issues by segmenting data and suggesting interventions such as process improvements and retraining.
You demonstrated practical experience in office administration by explaining how you organize documents, use scheduling tools, manage access controls, and proactively resolve meeting conflicts. Your emphasis on process and structure reflects a growing ability to handle administrative responsibilities efficiently.
Areas for Improvement
You could have explained your use of specific tools and formal processes in office administration with more concrete examples and detailed steps, such as outlining permission-audit activities or versioning practices. Providing these specifics would have made your structured approach even clearer.
You could have articulated your prioritization strategies in business management more explicitly, for example by referencing particular decision criteria or named metrics like cycle time, throughput, or critical path. Highlighting these details in your explanations would have underscored your ability to lead strategic discussions.
Your approach to customer relationship management could have been strengthened by specifying particular touchpoints and stages, such as support ticket handling, onboarding steps, or renewal processes. Detailing your review cadence and systematic workflow in your answers would have showcased your ability to implement structured customer success initiatives.
What's next?

The good news is that you can re-apply! You have two options:
Immediately with a different set of skills that better represent your strengths
If you prefer to stick with the same skill set, you can retake the interview after 30 days.
