Recently, I worked on a full‑stack edtech project with multiple dashboards, payment integrations. I poured dedication, we agreed the payment in 4 different phases. but when it came time for payment, the client keep delaying payment and giving words that we will settle before i finish, then lastly ghosted. Here’s the lesson: your first phase must be upfront payment. ✅ Don’t start a new phase until the previous one is fully paid. ✅ Keep control of your code and deployment until balances are cleared. ✅ Protect your peace, time, and intellectual property. I didn’t lose a client, I gained clarity. The project now sits safely in my private repo, ready to be rebranded for clients who respect engineering talent. I'm open for collaboration and oppurtunity as a full stack developer. https://ahmed-sani.netlify.app/ |
