Good day guys, the is GEBOD GLOBAL
And today, I will be sharing our machinery list of a small scale livestock feed processing.
It is not new that a lot of farmers are trying to curtail buying feeds directly from the company and they are open to compounding ingredients to make feed for their Poultry, Piggery , fishery, Cattles and many more.
Most farmers understands the composition needed for a nutritional portion for their farm animals, but are ignorant of the machines to make this happen.

In this list, I will be showing the major machinery list for a small scale feed processing.

Most feed needed to be grounded, mixed with other compounds and ingredients or . additives, then sifted or passed through the pelleting system or floating system for fishery feed.

The picture below is, however, for a medium scale feed processing system.

Before I continue, kindly understand that we are a team of fabricators and WE FABRICATE ALL AGRICULTURAL PROCESSING MACHINES.

Thank you

HAMMER MILL

The first machine that is important is a big grinder. Some people.prefee hammer mills but hammers are not defined for wet products. For example, fish bones, chicken bones and some other hard ingredients.

First, understand that hammer mill and grinder performs the same function of breaking down hard substances. The difference is that a hammer mill separates chaffs to a very minimal extent and a grinder doesn't at all. With a grinder, you need a sifter to separate chaffs.
But a grinder will grind both wet and dry ingredients, very comfortably.

SIFTER
After crushing, you want to sift (sieve) to remove bigger grains. This is important in the next step.

A after can come in many forms and shapes but the job is to sift.

MIXER

After grinding different portions, you will want to mix them all together to be even. This is where most people add additives and supplements like vitamin and all that.

Below is the video of a small scale mixer. This can be fabricated to mix between 25kg and 200kg at once.

Pelleting
After mixing everything you need, what you need to do is make them into small balls. Thus is where the pelleting machine comes in. It simply works by sprinkling the mixed compounds with little water and put them into the pelleting machine to make pellets. For fish feed, you use a floating machine if you want your feeds to float. The pelleting machine comes with more then one dice. The dice is what determines the size of the final product
