we got the card reader for prepaid meter but don't understand the way it's reading including the electrician guy fixing it

Before connecting it with the pumping machine,our unit balance was 144.50 it as reduced to 144.27after over 25min of pumping but card reader is just showing 00000.1

Second trial,we both switched to generator mode to get accurate figure, meter balance was 144.27 and it reduced to 144.08 after 18mins of direct pumping with the card reader but the reader moved from 00000.1 to 00000.03

So it doesn't tally, please I need help
