He Had 10 Customers Asking for BSF Larvae… But He Had Nothing to Sell**




This one still makes me laugh.

A farmer had been dreaming about getting more customers for his BSF business.

For months, he was posting pictures.

Larvae.

Eggs.

Pre-pupae.

More larvae.

He kept telling himself:

**"Once people start calling me, this business will take off."**

Then one morning...

His phone rang.

**"Hello, I need BSF larvae."**

He almost jumped out of his chair.

Finally!

A customer!

He quickly checked what he had available.

Not enough.

Then another person called.

**"Do you have larvae available?"**

"Yes," he answered confidently.

He checked again.

Still not enough.

Then another message came in.

Then another.

Then another.

By the end of the day, he had several people asking to buy.

You would think he would be celebrating.

Instead...

He was sitting down quietly, staring at his empty production trays.

**The customers had arrived before the product was ready.**

Imagine working so hard to find customers...

Only to discover that your biggest problem is now:

**"I don't have enough product."**

That's the kind of problem some farmers dream about.

But when it actually happens?

It can be stressful.

One customer was asking:


"When can you deliver?"


Another:


"How many kilograms do you have?"


Another:


"Can I get more next week?"


And our farmer was doing calculations in his head like a mathematician preparing for an exam. 😂

He eventually had to tell some of them:

**"Please, give me some time."**

That evening, he sat down and laughed.

Months earlier, he had been complaining:


**"Nobody is buying BSF!"**


Now he had the opposite problem.

**People wanted to buy.**

But he wasn't ready.

And that's when he realized something.

Sometimes the opportunity you've been praying for doesn't arrive gently.

Sometimes it arrives at your doorstep and says:

**"Oya, prove that you're ready."**

There is a Yoruba saying:


**"Àkókò tó bá yẹ ni Ọlọ́run ń ṣe ohun gbogbo."**


In simple words, **everything has its own time.**

Maybe the farmer wasn't unlucky when customers weren't calling.

Maybe he was still preparing.

And when the calls finally came...

They came faster than he expected.

So imagine this:

You wake up tomorrow and suddenly have **10 people asking to buy your BSF product.**

But you can only supply three of them.

Would you be excited?

Would you panic?

Or would you tell the customers to wait?

Because sometimes, getting customers isn't the end of the problem.

**It can be the beginning of a completely different one.**
