Our client is a leading member of Nigeria’s power industry. Since its inception, the company has focused all its efforts to establish itself as the country’s foremost generator/heavy equipment dealer offering remarkable products and after sales support. Hence they require the services of a Production Supervisor.

QUALIFICATION: Mechanical/Chemical/Welding Engineering

MAIN DUTIES:
• Responsible for planning and execution of projects as per given specifications
• Responsible for day to day works in section
• Co-ordination with various work groups
• Reports to the Production Manager and communicate with other Shift Supervisors
• Conversant with technical drawings
• Supervise production line operation in accordance with plant policies and procedures.
• Coordinate production start-ups, shutdowns, and changeovers
• Responsible to meet shift production goals.
• Responsible for quality of product. Make adjustments as necessary during shift to produce product within specifications. Reject product outside of specifications.
• Operate within standard operating procedures (SOP) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
• Ensure a clean and safe work area.
• Complete shift paper work.

EXPERIENCE&REQUIREMENT:
5 years experience in similar position in manufacturing environment (preferable Steel & Powder coating).

• Managing processes & improvement.
• Supervision / coaching.
• Tracking budget expenses
