I don't think Papilo has the technical skills in managing Enyimba. Being a good player is different from being a good club manager. The past club chairman in the person of Felix Anyawu did a good job at Enyimba. |

You and I know that America is not blessed with football talents unlike Nigeria. If you should mention America with other sports aside football, I will agree with you 100% that is why America comes first in Olympic games. A country of over 200 million people shouldn't be dependent on Victor Oshimen only as the striker. There are many Oshimen in Nigeria that are yet to be discovered and harnessed. The NFF should up their game in grooming talents. |

I doubt if you watch the interview as uploaded on this platform. Abati asked him how he made his money and he mentioned it. The man already made his money before going into politics. Tinubu should at least show us his primary school certificate. Jayhome24: One thing about foolish pipu is they expect a thief to say yea I stole it, pls is that not madness?

Politics › Re: 2027: Amaechi Chose Buhari Over Jonathan, We’ll Pay Him Back – Wike by 9jamustbegreat(m): 10:59am On Sep 06 |
Thank you very much. You just wrote what I had in mind to write. Wike is just being petty and his gullible followers are busy cheering him up. Wike has nothing tangible to campaign with in Rivers state after bringing the state down to its knee with the help of Tinubu. BondRiv: Those are excuses. You can't support him based on your political differences and personal interest. Any patriotic Nigerian would have left PDP under Jonathan given all that was going on in that administration. Jonathan also made it practically impossible for Amaechi to remain in PDP.
This same Wike was being used against him in the state. Who will accept that? I said it that most people are against Amaechi because they credit him for Jonathan's defeat.
Did Tinubu not contribute towards Jonathan's defeat? Is Wike not working for him? What is the current relationship between Wike and Jonathan? Why do we like deceiving ourselves in this country? What has "brother" politics done for Nigeria? Tribal politics.
This sentimental and myopic way of approaching governance is responsible for the stagnation of this country. |

This is a costly mistake on the part of the hospital that diagnosed the cancer. But people are always advised to seek for a second opinion in such a serious health issue before embarking on the treatment because those running the hospital are not God but humans. The only consolation for the woman is that she already has children if not, it would have been a double tragedy. |

I'm not putting up a defense for the medical center but maybe the medical centre do have a high number of patients daily which can actually lead to a mix up. Mistakes do happen but they are rear unlike Nigeria where we have high level of negligence in many institutions. Oga Yarimo, abeg rest small with this your statements. Yesterday you were busy debunking the videos of happenings in Osun state. Before the election, you said the governor would lose the election. Now you have changed your narrative on the election to congratulations to INEC and the president. The truth of the matter is that the people of Osun resisted the APC and her candidate. yarimo: Kudos to INEC and president TINUBU |
Politics › Re: Osun - IF Only Fubara Haɗ Decamp Just Maybe by 9jamustbegreat(m): 9:29pm On Aug 16 |
Fubara shot himself on the foot. All he needed was to decamp to a party different from APC immediately he returned from the state of emergency. The house of assembly couldn't have impeached him because the Anthoney general of the state was on his side. Back to the Adeleke issue, Adeleke was able to defeat the federal might because the people of Osun state came out in their numbers, stood their ground and voted against APC. Assuming the turnout of the voters was low, APC would have easily manipulated the outcome of the results against Imole. So the governor has the people of Osun state to thank for the victory and not in connection with any federal might. saintopus: Are you telling me the APC candidate is not loyal to Tinubu and APC his own party? With several APC governors in attendance to the campaign of the APC candidate? Make you reason things na! It's because Tinubu decided to remain neutral. He couldn't Have done anything. If they had decided to rig it would been too obvious. |
Politics › Re: Osun Poll: Adeleke’s Camp Replies Keyamo, Says No Political Deal With Tinubu by 9jamustbegreat(m): 9:19pm On Aug 16 |
I was listening to the Osun decides on radio Nigeria studio's on Saturday and one of the quest on the program actually said the Osun people are the true Omoluabis. The man is actually from from Osun state. He narrated the voting patterns of the Osun people especially when they are not happy with a system or candidate. He mentioned that Aregbeshola was the only governor to have done 2 terms in the state as at Saturday. AMINDA: Omisore also pledged to support Amubo. We all know how it ended. Cunnyman die, cunnyman bury am. No case! Unless something drastically changes in Osun between now and January, campaigning for Tinubu in Osogbo without an helmet remains an extreme sport. Don't take my words for it, ask people on ground. Adeleke does not own the people of Osun. He is only a beneficiary of the people's anger and resolve. Osun is the headquarters of the Omoluabis and the voters are completely independent. |
Politics › Re: Osun People Mock-singing That They Collected N50k and N20k by 9jamustbegreat(m): 9:08pm On Aug 16 |
You are actually right in what you said. But a leader with a foresight will focus mainly on developing the country to giving out hand-outs that won't better the lives of the citizens. nairalanda1: Because that is what the voters want. All of them.
One politican who is a house of reps member...gave out his phone number to constituents in the interest of transparency and wanting to hear for them. Over 90% of the calls to his number have been people asking for money. Not asking for him to do something about the bad road or bridge in our village, not asking for some school to be renovated, money. Just money
With that kind of mentality, why won't Nigerians take money in return for votes. And since politicans view it as investment , they won't pay attention to development (Actual develiopment is also hard work...and people don't like that).
At the end, Nigerians see development as someone sharing money to them, not long term development that would enable them make money...which is why we have never had good leaders since independence. We NIgerians like that kind of politics. We want the money. Let us not lie. Anyone who refuses to give out money is going to be mocked as stingy. |

The money actually belongs to the voters. This goes to show how wicked those politicians are to the citizens. Instead of using the money to better the lives of Nigerians, they will rather loot the money and share the reminants during election periods. BluntCrazeMan: And the Voters actually happily collected the payment they were paid... ...But they voted for someone else whose money they didn't collect... That's the main issue being discussed inside this thread.
You may argue that ACCORD Paid more money. And that was why they won, because more people went to the party which paid more money.
But according to the news on the ground,, it was APC which paid as much as ₦50,000 per vote in a lot of places,, and they also paid ₦20,000 per vote in some other places. |
