Singer, Kennybangs, is insisting that the music industry is filled to the brim with traitors.

Speaking with friend, the ‘Junction’ crooner, said he doesn’t trust anyone as the music industry is filled with traitors.

In his words:-

There are lots of fake people in this industry. When they see you doing well, they would come around you. But what they are really after is the fame and the fortune they think you have and they wouldn’t think twice about betraying you. I have seen a lot of such people in the industry and I can’t tolerate them because I have no time for fake love.”

Only if he has ever been betrayed by anyone in the industry:

“It has never happened to me and that is because I deliberately keep my circle small. Most of the people around me now are the ones that I knew from way back. I’m not saying that it’s bad to make friends but one just has to be careful and smart in the process.”

Fast rising singer, Holo Kehinde Samuel aka Kennybangs says that before he releases any song, he puts in a lot of hard work to ensure he comes out with the best.

Speaking with a friend about the inspiration behind his music, he said, “I am basically inspired by my environment. I get ideas from the things that happen around me and even from people. Inspiration could come in whatever form, even in the unlikeliest of places. However, the most important thing is that my music is a product of hard work. A lot of work goes into polishing a song and making it presentable from the point of getting the idea to releasing it to the public. Most times, it is a collaborative effort between me and other artist as I am always open to suggestions.”

The singer also dismissed insinuations that he is under pressure to do better than other mate. “It is not a competition, rather we are brothers. All I’m concerned about is making good music and I can assure my fans that I would never disappoint them,” he said.

Shedding more light on his debut Ep album, Believe, which is billed for release soon, Kennybangs said, “There are 8 songs on the Ep album but I had to record about 20 tracks in all before selecting the ones that would eventually go on the album and I can tell you it was quite tough. Burna Boy had the best album of 2019 and I will be having the best album of 2020. Great things start from small beginnings and I believe I’m destined for the top of the industry.”

Meanwhile, Kennybangs currently has songs such as Junction, One Call, Maalo, Ori Mi. among others which are doing well at the moment.
