According to some media reports, building collapse is fairly common in Nigeria. When you look at it actually, you dont see a very high percentage of houses built going down. Never the less, every case of a collapsed building can be traumatic to the victims and the people that erected the structure in the first place.
The very first step in ensuring a building does not collapse is in the structural details of the building. In other words, the success of a building starts from a very sound structural detail.
