How come your camera's work?
What did y'all do.

All depends on the custom rom, most of the roms out there have rear camera issues..

However you can give this one a try..
No bugs or camera issues...

I got the error you talked about on Nova..
However its easy to fix..

Download "Lucky Patcher" and install..
Run the app, then look to the bottom left of the screen you will see "Toolbox" tap it and a menu will drop down, tap on "Patch To Android" wait a few miliseconds then check the 1st & 2nd options, scroll down a bit and "Apply Patch" when its done you can go back and check the 3rd option and Apply..
That should fix it..

Try changing your launcher..

Nova, Apex & HoloLauncherHD are highly recommended...

it's not that it drains battery fast , I meant the battery implementation for DARKL and stock KitKat are better.
if you can remod darkl, it would be perfect. it has poor UI and looks blur. but the ram usage and battery are good.

I have not personally used the DARKL rom, due to reviews from users on XDA i decided its best not to download it..

But since you've mentioned it, i will download it and see for myself and knw if i can work on it..

Use "Opera Browser" or "Opera Classic" then goto its settings and set ther "User Agent" to "Desktop"..
it should work..

Or if you have any other browser that support "Desktop" rendering you can use that...

Yes but the original rom was a little bugged & the UI looked ordinary so i decided to work on it for Nairalanders that despises the Amigo UI..

I was the first ever to fix the rear camera issue on most 8gb versions...
In addition i changed the Settings UI, Gallery App, (no longer crashes when you try to edit pictures) changed Status bar Battery icon, and a handful of other tweaks..

So there is a big difference in both roms..

I tried your remoded Aosp. loved the look. everything is complete except the battery drains fast compared to default KitKat. if you could work on that, you would get the best ROM. have you tried the battery mod of DARK L, wonderful. but with poor UI.

I had to revert to default KitKat and made some changes. like applying DPI fix. to correct the screen density.

However you are the 1st person i have seen complain about poor ba3 perfomanc..
Others that flashed it actually gave the opposite review..
Am currently on the REMODDED AOSP and i have not had issues with the battery for almost a week of use..
My area has issues with PHCN so we'v not had power for months now i only charge my phone at night when the generator is on and it will last me on heavy usage and constant hotspot tethering for my other device till 7 or 9pm the next night b4 it drops to 15% depending on how i used it..

The battery perfomance is on par with the stock KitKat if you ask me..
it all depends on individual usage..
You can observe the amount of power i have left as at 5:43pm yesterday evening when i posted that screenshot above..
If memory serves me right thats was about 50+

This phone was not made by Zeus, (4200m no mean say ee no go dey run down on heavy use)

For the guys that flashed the REMODDED AOSP if your having a hard time configuring the pre-installed "VIPER4Android" download the zip file below..

Extract & place it on the root of your SDcard i.e "/sdcard/ViPER4Android"

Open ViPER4Android & tap your Menu key select "Load Effect Profile" and select "Standard Settings"

You can now flex the best sound effect you never knew exists on your M2..

For extra tweaking tap "UI Settings" and set it to "Moderate" or "Expert" and flex the additional settings..

Careful not 2 blow your Speaker & Headsets...

Yes flashing new rom you will lose root, but not to worry i provided an easy root file u can flash as well when you are done flashing the rom..

Your imei will change, so you need to back that up with mobileuncle tools..
Open mobile uncle, goto "IMEI BACKUP RESTORE (MTK)" and select "Backup IMEI to SDCARD(MTK)" it should backup, you can now restore it anytime after flashing a new rom..

Flashing a new rom wont delete you obb files, rather you lose the apk's that was installed..
So if you are familiar with "ESFile Explorer" get it from playstore you can backup your installed apps..
Here's how..
Open ESFile Explorer, tap the icon on the top left, a window should drop down, select "Library" and then choose "APP" you will see all installed apps now long press apps you wish to keep and select "Backup" on the bottom left of the screen..
However if this procedure is too long you are free to google other ways to backup installed apps..

Lastly the Ram management is good if not better.. You get about 670+ free ram on boot..
So it all depends on what you have installed and running..

Try it out and give us your review..

Remember to make a CWM backup before flashing *very important*

Meh my guys in d house am dead. I tried upgradin to d oficial kit kat on my m2 using flashtool for computer. After d successful upgrading, it was time for rebootin behold my phone didnt on again, not every to recovery- it was HARD BRICKED ok now i tried i tried using scatterd file from xda developer to bring it back to life it will be showin me DRAM FAILED and bla bla bla. No matter what i do it always show dram failed. So now i have a friend using m2 too on kit kat. If i backup his data using mtkdroid and restore it on my phone will it work ? And what if der is difference in the inbuilt memory mine is 4gig will it also work? Pls someone answer al my questions thanks

Did you choose the correct scatter file in the ROM you extracted..?
Because I remember there are two folders in the zipped file, one contains the real ROM and the other contains corrupted copy of the ROM files..

So in case you mistakenly flashed from the corrupted ROM folder, go back and reflash, and this time go through the folders carefully, choose the one that its files are in "mb's" & not "b's" i.e boot.img should be about "10mb" & not "0b" or something like that...

I have not tried flashing it while still on Jelly Bean..
But you can try, 1st of all backup your current ROM via CWM just incase it doesn't work so you can easily revert, and then "wipe data preflash" and then install zip..

Let us know if it worked..
