After staying 2 years in an apartment, my rent expired exactly August 1st, 2024 and after expiry landlord reached out for his money and I politely told him I’ll be moving out and I need some time to secure a new place before parking my load out of his house, he then asked for how much time, I told him maximum by middle of September (next month) I should have gotten a new space. This man then told him I’ll have to pay him for 2 months that is august and September and I’m like how possible? I just told you I need some time to move my loads and you are asking me to pay? Okay I didn’t want to argue so I should stopped the conversation and left politely.

So my question now is, what should I do in this case?

Please bear in mind that when I got this apartment, he collected legal fees and I was never given any agreement form to sign.

I honestly don’t want to pay him any dime. What can I do? How best can I approach this.

This is what I've always advocated for. The thing is that most people that post here only fo so because of the traffic. Most prices here are not clearance price, rather 2nd hand product price. It is left to the buyer to find a deal that feels good to him/her. But rather people wey never buy brand new expensive gadgets for their lives go dey guilt trip you to sell at their own price. Dem defense will always be NA CLEARANCE THREAD BE THIS. If you like post item for 1 naira here. Dem go still price am to kobo. Na so one sef for here go talk say dem dey sell am cheaper for Alaba at a certain price but him no go same Alaba to buy wetin him pay futurefocus for. Everybody wants a good deal which is understandable but to come dey guilt trip seller no be am. If a deal no favor you, move on and find another one. Life no hard like dat.

As per the screenshot you shared.

On the drop down options from right click.

Do the following:

1. Click Change Drive Letter and Path
2. The system will automatically choose a drive letter for you for instance D: or E:
3. Select the Drive Letter
4. Continue the process until it assigns the new Drive Letter

You will find the HDD on This PC once the above process is successfully completed.

My review has changed after using it for almost a month.

Now let me give my full review of the Greenearth mattress. It is not a premium mattress and the the claim of it being semi-orthopedic is of inferior quality compare to other good brands. If you are of average weight, it will serve you well but most people that buy semi-orthopedic mattresses is due to their weight and it fails to live up to expectations after using it for almost a month. The size of the mattress is a bit short when compared to Mouka/Vitafoam that I have used. It won't fully occupy your bedframe and you will notice gaps in between. My conclusion is that I don't recommend Greenearth semi-orthopedic mattress for someone who is above average weight. It won't last long. It's just meant for someone of average weight and below. I had to buy another semi-orthopedic mattress from another manufacturer and was even told by two sellers that greenearth mattress is of inferior quality for someone of my weight.

This is the method FutureFocus has chosen to control, he is notorious for blocking you if you keep asking for the price without buying anything. He can also help you queue an item for months without picking it up and sometimes allows you to pay installmentally.

So you can either disparage him like others, but if you want an item on a good deal, even force him to import a specific item for you when it has been exhausted, or even depending on the relationship, get him to sell you at a super discounted price, ask him for price and store his contact as "FutureFocus Weird Gadgets".

What is my own in all this? Any price anyone chooses to sell their products or however they wish to advertise it, they should. And he's a good person, at least from my small transactions with him.
