The other day, a UN report tapped Onitsha as the most poluted city in the world and an eastern tried to use their usual twisted logic to explain the indictment away by saying that is inevitable because the city is heavily industrialized. I asked the fellow whether Onitsha is has more industries than Ikeja, a province of Lagos or other heavily industrialized cities in Europe and the South east Asia, he failed to respond.

The claim to business success by easterners is fraudulent because its based on crime. In a sane clime, your people would be wiped out of afluence because their so-called business cannot thrive where law and order is effected.
Importation of sub-standard products, manufacturing of fake drugs, replacing the original engine of generators with fake engines, selling chalk powder as capsules and tablets, etc, are the source of your wealth.
With a sanitized society, your so-called business acumen would be debunked.

I am Igbo from the South East. over the past 3 years or so, i have registered more than 20 active cell phone numbers in Aba, Onitsha, Nnewi and Enugu. Anytime I return to Nigeria I usually purchase 5 or more sim cards in Lagos (2 MTN, 2 GLO and 1 Airtel) and all of them are registered and active in Nnewi, Onitsha, Enugu and Aba , So go figure out how accurate the Abia, Enugu, Anambra figures can be.

The insults are not necessary. Ife is a beautiful campus with great structures but that started in the 70s when awolowo stole money to upgrade it. to sustain what they got, they have to open their eyes to reality, nothing is freee anymore, they better start paying or they will go down. The Ife built with cocoa money in the 60s was a glorified secondary school until awolowo stole money to in the 70s. Through out its glorious days Ife boast of beautifull campus, when it comes to quality of staff and achivements of alumni, the other first generation universities are ahead of them
