It is worrisome that Ortom didn't drag the federal Government to court over its negligence and deliberate machination to promote Fulani agenda, rather he is going after a Minister from his state. Could he just be playing politics with the lives of people. Also, all the allegations raised by the Minister are a matter of records particularly the funds he received, if he is contesting that, then he should come forward and show the records. Ortom is a failure!!!

make things clear, dont throw away the birth water with the baby, respond to the substance raise not the personality. So the right evaluation is only from those who never participated in the APC which of course is the PDP and they have been making similar observations or maybe only those that are in Government of which the Minister of justice is one of them and he did labelled MAGU as corrupt with unaccounted recovered funds. Maybe you respond him before going after Ango, Hakeem and the rest.

That Ango Abdullahi believes that the only way the government can prove its success so far is for the prisons to be overflowing with inmates and convicts of corruption make him somewhat of not being a true northern elder questions your authority in the the vast political gapes you are promotiong. This administration came solely to fight amongst others corruption and yet take a toll of convictions vs the expose scandals and compare the ration then come out to publicly declare to us if its a good achievement. In this same manner, the same government accuse its own anti-corruption tsar of being corrupt with even possible reminder by way of easing him out, come out boldly and tell me what does all that indicate and what makes Ango Abdullahi what you are saying
2. That Hakeem Baba Ahmed had lobbied for a post and stuffs like that, what do you expect of politicians if not to lobby for the best position they feel they can serve the government they help to bring and form. So just because he has lobbied for a position and he didn't get, makes him such a terrible person that he longer have sense of reality to make positive criticism of this government or what. In fact, for him to have had the guts to lobby or vie for such elevated seats tell much of he didnt come from no where but rather was part of the binding fabrics of the APC and the president for him have made it that attempt and in a typical way those that had substance during the formative and struggling days of the presidency have suddenly turn out to be nobody after the government worn, could it be the government was brought in by bad eggs like Hakeen and Buba Galadima but yet it is sacrosanct.

so you mean before writing we cant take action or is it the author has become the think-tank of government so much that he/she will write to provoke government conscious on germane matters like peace and security. The writer should have written how government got it right on security that when they finally get it right not sugar coat them.

Many a time we are always in a haste to conclude and personalize issues possibly because of ignorance or deliberate mischief. We will all agree that the Coronavirus is a global pandemic that has brought all socio-economic and political activities around the globe to a halt as it is facing the worst global economic decline ever experienced. The situation is not different in Nigeria where there have been challenges including loss of lives, jobs, as well as hunger and starvation.

We often make reference to other countries when it is rosy including clamour for the adoption of some of their policies, laws and so on but have failed to emulate them in areas that really matter, especially in these trying times. Most political leaders, members of the opposition parties and other unscrupulous individuals will always want to exert pressure on the government by exploiting a sensitive situation like the global pandemic for pecuniary reasons.
They have accused the government of neglecting its people by keeping mute on the ongoing distribution of palliatives and welfare packages, as well as infrastructural developments in the health sector aimed at containing the spread of the disease. These new selfish activisms and agitations are tailored towards 2023 general elections despite the growing concerns over the spread of this virus.
As political leaders from different divides and ideals, one would expect them to put aside politics and pre-existing bitterness and rancour to consider the global challenge as a common enemy which requires concerted and unified effort to defeat it by using their platforms and political structure to intensify sensitization in a bid to enlighten their supporters and followers on the COVID-19 pandemic. Rather, they choose this critical time to wage a fruitless war with the government.

It is unavoidably true that the administration is fighting the pandemic with limited funds and resources in areas such as insufficient testing kits, Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), amidst prevailing Illiteracy, poverty, and the dwindling status of the Nigerian economy. However, the government is putting efforts in place to mitigate these challenges by sustaining public sensitization.
An earlier four-week lockdown was equally imposed in some selected States, as well as and the introduction of the compulsory use of face mask in public places, among other measures only to be criticized by the opposition. The lockdown which has since been eased following a review of the current economic situation of the country and these same misguided activists on the payroll of politicians have equally condemned it unconstructively.

The actions of these selfish individuals backed by selfish politicians since the outbreak of the disease in the country highlight a deliberate ploy for mischief which requires well-meaning citizens to stop patronizing their machinations which is not benefiting to the COVID-19 global concern.
