But as a man, my first responsibility is my own home. If I have ₦28m and I can get the same value by buying a ₦22m car, I’d rather put the remaining ₦6m into my wife’s business than hand it over to a dealer so he can empower his own family abroad.

The problem is that asking again and again does not mean you lack boldness. In fact, the Bible shows people asking God many times for the same thing, like the persistent widow. She kept asking and was praised for it. So you can be bold and still ask repeatedly. Thanking is good, but it does not replace asking. You can do both.
