Ondo State born houte couture fashion designer, Deola Sagoe's new advert has now gotten viral and being tagged a racist advert after the popular international designer used only White models in her advert.

The fashion designer is under fire from fans and her followers over the YouTube advert video because her wears are mostly used by blacks and the reason why she couldn't embrace the race.

A twitter user @solange_blaze took to her handle to narrate how a lady refused her bf's breakup.

According to her, the lady refused her boyfriend's proposal because he had caused a some damages in her life that no one may be willing to accept her again with such damage.

A lady, identified as Sandra Novo-Jacob, recently went on social media to call out the comedian for allegedly abandoning her and her baby girl

She wrote on Facebook during the week, “Klint da drunk is the father of my child. I cannot hide it anymore because I am tired of caring for this child alone. I need him to play the role of a father to (our) child, Annora Uchechi Klint Igwemba.”

To show proof of the communication between her and the comedian, Jacob posted screenshots of her chats with Klint, bank credit alerts, and a photo of the child’s birth certificate bearing Klint’s full name.

The 26-year-old woman explained to Sunday Scoop, “We were friends on social media for some years before we eventually met in Benin in 2013. That’s all I can say about that. When I told him about the pregnancy, he asked me to get rid of it. But I couldn’t do that as I didn’t want to abort the innocent baby.

Lamenting about how hard it has been for her to solely take care of the baby, she said, “The last time I saw him was in October 2017. Since I shared the story on Facebook, he has not reached out to me. He has not even seen the baby. I chat with him on WhatsApp, but he replies only whenever he feels like.”

Meanwhile, Klint, who is married with three kids, has not made any statement about the issue. All attempts to get Klint’s reaction to the story were abortive.

In a bid to celebrate the 47th anniversary of China-Nigeria diplomatic ties, the Government of the Peoples Republic of China has offered scholarships to 47 students of the University of Calabar.

The Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria, Dr Zhou Pingjiang, while presenting the award to the school management, said that Nigeria and China had many things in common.

PingJiang said, ”while China has the largest population in Asia, Nigeria has the largest population in Africa.

“Also, we are the largest economy in Asia and the second largest in the World while Nigeria is the largest economy in Africa”.

Pingjiang also praised the management of the University of Calabar for its strides in academic and infrastructural development within four decades of its existences.

Thanking the Chines Government for choosing the institution for the scholarship award, the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Calabar, Prof. Zana Akpagu said the gesture was a testimony that UNICAL was receiving international recognition.

Akpagu, therefore, announced that the institution had initiated a move to set up an Institute of African and Asian Studies.

The 47 beneficiaries of the scholarship according to the News Agency of Nigeria were drawn from various departments of the university.

Mufti Athar Kasmi, a Muslim Cleric at the largest Sunni Muslim Seminary which was held in northern town of Deoband, Northern India has ordered women not to watch men playing football nor watch any football match.

He said, women watching men play football violates the basic etiquettes of Islam and stated it is even wrong to watch it on TV because the whole body of most footballers are not covered according to Islamic Sunnah which considers uncovered places above knee as naked.

He said;
“Do you have no shame? Do you not fear God? You let her watch these kinds of things,”
“Why do women need to watch these football matches? What they will gain by looking at footballer’s thighs. Their attention will be on that only and they will even miss the scores."

Recently it was reported that the seminary issued a similar decree asking women to stop visiting beauty salons and to also stop wearing tight clothing.

32year old tourist from Czech republic, Jiri Barta falls down from waterfall on Their Island, Koh Samui in Thailand and died immediately.

The tourist died while taking selfie on the waterfall slipped and lost control of his foot.
Report revealed that the man shuffled to the edge of a cliff next to the Khun Sri waterfall while a friend took a photograph.

However he then lost his footing and plunged to his death in front of his horrified friends. Friends rushed down and desperately battled to resuscitate him without success.

Rescue workers however arrived at the scene a while later but the man was confirmed dead before being taken to the hospital for a post-mortem examination. Devastated friend Miss Romana Uassara, 30, said the group had arrived in Thailand on February 5 and they had rented five motorcycles to travel around the island.

She said:
‘We were just admiring the beauty of the waterfall and he walked over to the edge for a picture. ‘The edge is so steep and he fell onto his back. It took a long time for his body to hit the bottom. I don’t know why. ‘We went down and he was still alive. We tried to do CPR and asked for help from villagers in the neighbourhood.’

Boonchai Wannawatchanasuntorn of Koh Samui’s tourist police, said rescuers spent five hours negotiating the deadly terrain to retrieve the body.

He said:
‘There is a sign in both Thai and English barring people from entering, but tourists keep ignoring it. Accidents happened often because the slope is very steep, at almost 90 degrees, and it is very slippery.’
The treacherous waterfall has been declared off-limits after a number of people have fallen from its edges in time past.

The Big Brother Naija show still continues with mindblowing events.

The reality TV show’s challenge ended today with team TENA(Teddy A and Nina) won the favourite BB Naija Couple Challenge.

The team, however won’t participate in the HEAD OF HOUSE challenge this week and whoever wins the HEAD OF HOUSE challenge won’t have the power to save the duo as a reward.

Team TENA were also granted immunity from eviction as disclosed by Big Brother.

Recall that the participants were reshuffled and pair after last Sunday’s eviction. The new unique names is as a result of pairing system adopted by organisers of the programme to determine eviction.

The new names were given by Biggie for viewers to use while voting in the next eviction. Ebuka had during the live show promised viewers that there will be a twist in the game.

He said there will be no eviction this week so that viewers of the reality show can know more about the new pairs.

The former manager of Nollywood actress Lilian Bach who was jailed in Kirikiri early this year has died.

Adedoyin Sulaiman who was put behind bars after the light skinned actress used her influence to get police to arrest her dies months after she was released from the prison.

Though the actress didn’t reveal this to her fans, Sulaiman, who became a subject of envy when her assistant, Favour Chukwudi was trying to take over from her dies of acute Malaria infection few weeks ago.

Her family members have been raining curses on the actress for wasting the precious life of a fellow human being.

A source revealed that throughout late Adedoyin Sulaiman’s stay in the hospital, Lilian Bach didn’t visit her or even call to check up on her.

A Nigerian lady Olivia Ifunanya is grateful to God for saving her life, after she was knocked down by a speeding Danfo bus while attempting to cross a highway in Lagos.

She Wrote;
“NO I WON’T KEEP QUIET over what the lord has done for me.
DEVIL IS A LIAR!!! Umunnem follow me and thank God for saving me from instant death on 20th of December this year few days to Christmas.

I was knocked down by a Danfo bus on speed running through the wrong way (one way) on the express very close To my house as I wanted to cross through the third of the four lane express way. That express no one has ever survived any accident there. But God in his infinite love saved my life , no broken bones, no internal bleeding, only few bruise on my upper lap. People at d scene were surprised that I still jumped up with all consciousness and requested to be taken to the hospital

*HE GAVE ME A SECOND LIFE!!!!
WHO AM I THAT HE SAVED ME.
Who will speak when the lord has not spoken bikonu? ?Of course noone!!!!!

I couldn’t hold it to my self at least I have massive brothers and sisters here who can raise a glorious noise to God on my behalf……..

A gang of two armed robbers attacked one Francis Chibueze of Bakery Road, Azikoro Village, Yenegoa, Bayelsa State on 22 December, 2017, at about 8 pm.

Luck ran against the gang as one of the robbers mistakenly shot and killed his partner. The victim Francis Chibueze escaped unhurt.

The deceased armed robber was identified as 25-year-old Thankgod Smith and his partner who shot him was identified as 23-year-old Peter Napoleon.

Policemen swung into action, and the suspect in hiding panicked and came to the Azikoro Police Station on 23 December, 2017 on his own volition and confessed to the armed robbery and killing his gang member.

He led Police Detectives to an uncompleted building in Bakery Road, Azikoro Village, where the gun was recovered.

According to her, she was making out with her cook when she was caught in the act by her own son. Needless to say, this development has left her really apprehensive.

She revealed that after she was caught in the act, she reached out to her son and he confessed that he had been watching them unnoticed for a long time before they spotted him.
Now she is trying hard to get him to keep quiet.

Majek Fashek‘s manager, Uzoma Omenka has slammed him for calling out the legendary singer.

Daddy Freeze had criticized Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo’s COZA church for allowing a secular musician like Majek Fashek to perform in their alter.

The controversial OAP had earlier said, ‘I am still searching for the sense in this. I am a huge Majek fan, but do I want to see him perform in a church’.

In his response, Uzoma made a video message with Majek Fashek by his side blasting Daddy Freeze for his utterance and warning him never to mention Majek’s name else he’ll be beaten up.

According to him, ‘there’s nothing wrong with a world class legend Majek Fashek who’s music sends the right message to be invited to perform in any church. To Daddy Freeze you need to do your research properly before wagging your mouth and speaking like a Kid.
