And what about the 2000 clash between the Yoruba and Hausa, which also claimed many lives and destroyed properties? Don't forget the Lagos State strikes over minimum wage between 1999 and 2000.

It's worth noting that Anambra State is one of the states with the lowest Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) in Nigeria. Yet, Obi didn't borrow. I understand the withdrawal of LGA allocations in Lagos, but the revenue generated there is sufficient to meet its needs, yet Tinubu still mortgaged the state.
