The sokoto state batch A serving corp members that are yet to collect their state allowance for the month of August and September 2016 gather at the state education scholarship board under ministry of youth and sport,sokoto state.
Furthermore, it is stated by one of the corp members that the money had been issued to the corp members of the state by the state government since December 18 till end of the month but still some are yet to collect due to Christmas holiday they go for before the speculated time NYSC gave(I.e 23rd DEC. til.2nd jan.).
in addition to this, the money are yet to be paid to them because most of them did not write leave letter before traveling.
in conclusion, the official said before they can give money to any corp member, he/she should provide his/ her leave letter/letter of approver for the leave taking. some of the corp members that don't have the leave letter/approval letter said the official are looking for a way to get the money in their pocket.
