No i have had several UK visas in the past. The one just issued is for 10 years. During my application i submitted 2 accounts and just mentioned my total monthly spending and total incomes. You can try again after a couple of months

Your profile not tallying, that’s why they refused you.. with your active visas they could have ignored the inconsistency in your profile and granted you but this is one of those cases where they refused to.
Visa denials are at an all time high now, things are not ignored anymore.
Any small doubt the visa officer has now, you will be denied. I have been singing this for a few months since the uproar in the UK increased as lots of illegals and overstayers and the British people are absolutely fed up.

In my opinion retry after 6 months so you don’t look so desperate and with better preparation + adequate care taken into filling your form etc OR get a salaried role and try after a couple of months.
Use the Schenghen and Canadian visas appropriately and continue to show that you do not overstay visas. Canada and Schenghen have similar immigration styles with them so this counts.

How can someone earning ₦1.5m monthly claim to be spending ₦135,000 in a country where inflation is high? Feeding for 30 days alone at average of ₦3000 per day is almost ₦100,000 and you'll not transport yourself, get internet connection etc.

I don't know why some of you can't be real with yourself before applying or just dashing UKVI nonrefundable visa fees

On a pleasant note I secured the uk visit visa today. I got the approval mail around 5pm

The answer to your question is where do you draw the money you spend on. If you spend whether from your business or personal account you should show evidence. So for example if you draw 50k monthly from your savings and 260k from your business account then you should provide the evidence of that.

Basically show evidence of your income and expenditure so that the office will determine whether you are suitable for the visa

Well in my case, what i did was that I submitted all my accounts details, then I based my monthly expenditure based on these accounts. From the question in the visa application form, they ask about your income and expenditures, so it isnt specific to just one account

45k seems very low, it doesn't seems realistic. You should consider that if you spend that monthly what is the chance that you would spend a whole lot more on a trip/vacation.

My initial response to you was based on the details of the refusal . The refusal says that the monthly expenses you put is less than what you spend monthly.

Thats how I applied also, I realised that between the six months there was no month i spent the same amount. Not even close to each other. Infact there was no month that I didn't spend more than the amount I claimed to spend monthly.

I am still waiting for their outcome. I applied on the 22nd

One thing I've seen is that many people do not FACTUALLY check their monthly expenditure.

Sit down with the account you submitted and calculate what leaves your account and what enters. Do an aaverage over 3 or 4 months and you'll know what your monthly expenses.

Keep accounts simple.

You earn 1.5M monthly and you are spending just 60k per month in this Nigeria. This might look so unrealistic to the caseworker.

Your tax documents and annual filings would have perfected your claims but you said you don’t pay tax. Hopefully your business name is active on CAC website and then maybe the Schenghen visa could help allay the ECO’s fears and help your visa. 50-50 chance nonetheless

Your business is likely to be liable for tax or at at least show you filed returns

If you have employees then you remit PAYE to your state. Unless they are paid

Taxes and filing is one way to prove your business is actually real.
It's why it supports your proof of source of income

With the current climate in the Uk, the profile you have listed will get you a refusal. Home office is not smiling at the moment.
Red flags= self employment so can stay back in the Uk and not return
No tax payment since 2014= ?sketchy business profile
Travel to Sa and Uae almost 9 years ago= not good enough
3 months bank statement with 6 million and less proof of how this was accumulated … ?? 600k salary ?? 450k expenses= 150k disposable income = hmmm red flags x 20. How did a person with a disposable income of 150k accumulate 6 million naira.
3 weeks holiday to visit friend= zero genuine intent
Fighting age man= asylum seeker

Don’t go and taint your travel profile, they wouldn’t give you a visa at this time. Sorry to say.

Their is no way you wont use a forged document if someone pays you salary because it has to show remitted tax to the authority except what you earn is so little and need not to pay tax.

Tax clearance certificate is not a must have. It is a good to have. If you have, submit it.

Don't complicate your case with any funny moves.

Always stick to the truth. UK Visa is not a do or die affair.

Pay yourself a monthly salary. Same amount. Same day every month. Fill your form carefully. Ask questions if you need clarification.

Gather all documents related to your business. Read previous posts for guidance. We have addressed this scenario several times.

so was given 1month single entry..applied for 9 days.... embassy took just 5 working days btw submittion and visa issue, 1st time schengen application, thogh frequent traveller with valid uk/us visas

So sorry… i had same experience i did my biometric at lagos on 5th May was shocked to receive a refusal after been approved schengen visas 4 consecutive time, i reapplied immediately with a covering note detailing the reason why they were wrong not granting my visa application, i did another biometric on 28th May same lagos, my passport came out on 25th June with a visa approval…..
