lexybaba1234: You earn 1.5M monthly and you are spending just 60k per month in this Nigeria. This might look so unrealistic to the caseworker.
I will like to be more realistic with my UK visa application.
Good luck! I only spend that amount from the savings account, I also have business account where I spend money from too…. |

giselle237: Your tax documents and annual filings would have perfected your claims but you said you don’t pay tax. Hopefully your business name is active on CAC website and then maybe the Schenghen visa could help allay the ECO’s fears and help your visa. 50-50 chance nonetheless Yes my cac is active and I file annually but I dnt pay tax please do you advice I pay tax to perfect the application ? |

Good day everyone, I’m self employed trying to get a uk visit visa. I have travelled to Schengen area couple of times with active France visa….. as a business owner I pay myself monthly salary of #1,500,000. This month payment will make it 6month I started paying and I spend #60/70k monthly. Please what additional document do I need to perfect my application |

Taal17: I'm responding to you statement about taxes Your business is likely to be liable for tax or at at least show you filed returns
If you have employees then you remit PAYE to your state. Unless they are paid
Taxes and filing is one way to prove your business is actually real. It's why it supports your proof of source of income I fill only annual returns, never paid tax because I feel it’s a sole business I dnt have workers….. but i pay myself salary monthly |

giselle237: With the current climate in the Uk, the profile you have listed will get you a refusal. Home office is not smiling at the moment. Red flags= self employment so can stay back in the Uk and not return No tax payment since 2014= ?sketchy business profile Travel to Sa and Uae almost 9 years ago= not good enough 3 months bank statement with 6 million and less proof of how this was accumulated … ?? 600k salary ?? 450k expenses= 150k disposable income = hmmm red flags x 20. How did a person with a disposable income of 150k accumulate 6 million naira. 3 weeks holiday to visit friend= zero genuine intent Fighting age man= asylum seeker
Don’t go and taint your travel profile, they wouldn’t give you a visa at this time. Sorry to say. My question is as self employed business owner who pays herself monthly salary with active Schenge (France visa) and have visited Europe multiple times without violating the law, you dnt pay tax as a business owner since 2020 please is there a chance of getting uk visa approved if i apply Because it seems uk visa is hard for business owners… |

You keep changing your story as you post.
Again your initial question is a fraudulent one. Why will I change my story? Is this forum an exam hall or will anyone beat me Like I said earlier “use your brain before you type” not everyone is desperate like you |

BruceXavier is right, the above idea is fraudulent and should not be encouraged here.
Its funny how we put out such fraudulent idea easily as if its legitimate Who is promoting fraudulent act I asked 2 questions, should I keep paying myself salary from my company account or get my husband to pay me salary to avoid tax clearance issh, someone kind enough responded and said “ I should go keep paying my self salary and there will be no need for tax clearance….. y”all judgmental others started saying I was being fraudulent for asking questions and knowing how to perfect my application which is happening in 6months time….. stop judging without understanding the question you guys are not being helpful rather judging and being mean |

abuhusna1: Their is no way you wont use a forged document if someone pays you salary because it has to show remitted tax to the authority except what you earn is so little and need not to pay tax. Aiit thank you! I’ll continue paying myself salary from my business account, since a gentleman already gave me a good answer that “tax clearance is not compulsory” rather than judging or acting like the UK consular…. Your responses on here to a simple question/opinion is very mean |
Travel › Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Abikeadebey: 3:13pm On Feb 21 |
Cashmadam: Tax clearance certificate is not a must have. It is a good to have. If you have, submit it.
Don't complicate your case with any funny moves.
Always stick to the truth. UK Visa is not a do or die affair. You just answered my question, Which is tax clearance is not a must have……. I never said it was a do or die. I only asked for the best way to apply as I already have active Schengen and Canada visa |
Travel › Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Abikeadebey: 3:11pm On Feb 21 |
BruceXavier: The audacity! The average Nigerian doesnt see anything wrong here. You want to commit fraud, just to get UK visa. You obviously don't see the implication of what you are trying to do. We are so used to anyhowness and anormalies in this country. Kai!! Who is committing a fraud are you okay? I haven’t even started my application I have active Schengen and Canada, I was just asking on how to perfect my documentations. The company that will pay me salary is my husband company which I run also. Use your brain before you type |
Travel › Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Abikeadebey: 12:07am On Feb 21 |
Cashmadam: Nothing is complicated if you are organized.
Pay yourself a monthly salary. Same amount. Same day every month. Fill your form carefully. Ask questions if you need clarification.
Gather all documents related to your business. Read previous posts for guidance. We have addressed this scenario several times. Thank you!!! But I was thinking hope they won’t ask me for tax clearance certificate, also i was thinking of getting someone else with a company account to pay me salary so I can say I work in the company to avoid tax clearance issh |

hunee: You were denied once last year; you reapplied and got a 6month multi entry. How many times did you use this visa during that 6months? what exactly is your purpose for traveling? This is summer period. Is your purpose for traveling relative? I always say timing and planning visa applications are important. There would be more cases of such if people are not mindful of these theoretical questions i have raised? Even so you are a frequent traveler, time your applications. Sorry about your refusal, re apply during winter or you can gamble visa shopping. We never can tell you be lucky again.
@Abikeadebey I used the visa twice without over staying! Maybe I was denied due to peak period truly! Because the same happened to me last year |

It could be due to anything. what was written on the denial letter May 28th, it says purpose of traveling was not justified just the normal refusal thing |

Chelseaboy101: From personal experience, I don't think so . The embassy would have requested for a valid hotel booking if the one you submitted got canceled while processing your application.. So what could have been the reason since it’s a renewal? |

Hi everyone, my visa renewal was denied! I dnt know maybe because my hotel reservation canceled before the visa decision because the hotel mailed me that they cancelled which the visa was still in process. Please could the hotel be the reason for the refusal ? |
