I saw this and I think I need to post it here… This article is written based on request by a someone who pleaded anonymity. It is meant to draw attention to the ailing standard of our medical system. This time not necessarily in infrastructure but in how practitioners attend to patients. University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, Calabar which is one of the leading teaching hospitals in the nation was recently labelled “most disgusting hospital ever” by a my source who claims a close friend of his died out of negligence and nonchalant attention by the nurses and student doctors who did not know what to do. In his words, this is what he said “I watched my friend struggle for hours and the student doctor there knew not what to do. The nurses acted like her life meant nothing to them. They allow student doctors play around with people’s lives” According to him he is still mourning his friend and he believes his friend could have survived if only he had been properly and promptly attended to. This article is written to serve as a notice to draw to attention authorities that are responsible to regulate and check irregularities in hospitals and especially UCTH. I may not be able to state whether other casualties have resulted due to this problem but with this story I want to believe this may not be the first time. But then, I hope this will be the last time. Thank you! #BetterHealthCare For more visit http//WWW.NegroidHaven. com |

By Nelson Amaobi Osuala 18th of April, 2015. 06:32am A Generation of Young Christians 1. We are always right and we never accept correction.. A corrector is seen as an enemy 2. We love to sing in church, but do not read our bibles at home 3. We are full of lust, sensuality and emotions, and we call it love 4. we want to have wonderful marriages, but by the time we are 25years we've spent almost ten years in relationships already. Sometimes we may have had more boy lovers and girl lovers than even our parents. 5. Sexual activities are now part of our relationships calling it romance 6. we want to be rich in life, meanwhile we spent all our finances on the latest ipads, iphone, galaxies, htcs, laptops, cameras etc which in many cases we use less than 30% of their functions 7. We do not pay our tithes and offerings claiming we are students 8. We say we are christian women but dress like hollywood stars and we call it fashion 9. We love pleasures rather than God 10. In church you will see us with our hands lifted up singing slow songs which we call worship but on our phones in our pockets, you will see pics of naked and half naked women, hip hop, hip life and we have a nice way of justifying it. 11. We are hardly convicted when we go to church because our hearts have been hardened by the deceitfulness of sin and pride...etc etc etc But God forsaw this and warned us in 2Tim.3:1-4, That in the last days men and women will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. We need to change our ways, we have no excuse on judgement day. U can forward this to affect a Life. see more http://www.negroidhaven.com/2015/04/religion-is-this-true-christianity.html |
When it comes to sex, bigger is NOT always better. At least, not for every position or maneuver. The good news is that women can now experience maximum pleasure with the right person, regardless of what size of penis he’s carrying. Here, see four different sex positions, tailored to perfection for four different types of members. Whether he’s giant or below average (or curves dramatically to the right!), you’ll definitely find a way to reach maximum velocity with these pointers. An Average Fellow Most positions are fair game-so experiment! Sex expert Emily Morse of SexWithEmily.com suggests the Crouching Dragon: Wrap your arms around his shoulders and your legs around his midsection before having him crouch down in a squat so that his body makes a human chair for you. Press your body closely up against his as you grind. Mr. Big Spend 10 to 15 minutes in pre-intimacy to help the vagina expand, and use lube. Choose you-on-top moves to control how deep he goes. Lean over his body with your hands on either side of his head on the floor or a mattress, “as if you’re about to do a pushup,” says Morse. “It also helps for him to bend his knees so you can lean back for support.” Smaller Than Six Inches Go rear-entry, says Debby Herbenick, Ph.D., a sex researcher at Indiana University. This offers you deeper penetration. Rest your head and shoulders on a pillow, lift your butt up, then squeeze your thighs. The tighter your legs, the snugger the fit. (Avoid lube: With a smaller guy, friction is your friend.) Bendy Boy If he has a slight sideways shape, “have him stand next to the mattress while you lie on it,” says Morse. “Alternate angling yourself to one side, then the other, almost curled in a ball. He can use your shoulders for support while he thrusts and you find which of the positions feels best, depending on which direction his penis bends.” – WomensHealthMag see more http://www.negroidhaven.com/2015/04/romance-check-out-4-best-sexual.html |
By William Oyo-Ita 17 April 2015 I have done some research to find out what are the disadvantages of online dating, and even though they were quite lame and seemed to contradict each other, decided to address them. 1. It’s online therefore it’s not for real. A number of people worry about the fact that since it’s online and not face to face, people are more inclined to lie or use fake pictures. Yes, the proper term for that is catfishing and that does happen, but not as often as you think. Because really, what’s the point? When you do meet, you will see the real deal and you always have the option of just walking away. Plus, if you’re that worried about their looks, you always can skype. Let’s be real, it’s not like people don’t lie in real life. Yes, you might be able to see them right away in a bar (that’s where you’d meet people, right?) but it’s not like they’re gonna tell you everything about themselves right there and then. 2. There’s no mystery. In contradiction to the previous disadvantage, some say that internet dating has taken the mystery out of dating. There’s too much information available online and that, somehow, is bad and makes it less interesting and less intriguing. Yeah…cause you wouldn’t really want to know right away if they have anything in common with you. Perhaps you’d prefer to invest a lot of time and money into going on multiple dates, spend months on them and only after find out that they’re an ex-murderer or worse, they might be a Justin Bieber fan. 3. Others won’t take you seriously. The notion that people will think you’re a loser for starting a relationship online is so ridiculous it almost seems made up. No one cares. They’re too busy liking pics of food on Instagram, starting drama on Twitter and stalking their exes on Facebook, or hitting up hotties on Grindr or Tinder. You really can’t surprise anyone by saying “we met online” anymore. Now let’s See What Are The Advantages 1. You save time and money. While some might like to spend their precious time and money in bars, waiting for prince charming to waltz in with a million dollar smile, a cheesy pick-up line and an offer to buy you a drink, others prefer not to. Having the option of finding out what a person likes, what are his/her hobbies and tastes, political views, opinions on life, the universe and everything in just a couple of keystrokes saves you a lot of time and money. Time and money that you could spend on, lets say, a massage at a spa. 2. Less awkwardness and stress. If you’re on a dating website you don’t have to worry about their intentions. Everyone here is looking for the same thing – relationships. That makes it less awkward and stressful. You don’t have to guess if they’re just being friendly or if they’re flirting. Once you’ve found someone you like and have been chatting for a while it’ll be way less awkward to finally go on a date. No more worrying about conversation topics and saying the wrong you. Now you’ll have smh to fall back on. Like a conversation you started online, you might already have inside jokes by the time you meet, which as we all know, makes everything so much more fun. 3. More options. More freedom. Unlike offline dating you’re not limited to your friend group or a bunch of sleazy douchebags at the club. Plus since it’s someone you’ve never met before, you probably won’t have any friends in common, which is great – no one there to judge you or gossip about you in case it doesn’t work out. It’s also a great idea if you’re planning on moving. Cause this way you can already find a kindred spirit wherever it is you’re moving, before you even get there. 4. Safe option for shy people. A lot of people are shy and don’t feel comfortable in pubs/clubs/bars. It’s difficult to have a proper conversation with a stranger, especially in a loud crowded environment and are worried about a million other things. Awkward silences are awful. That awkward moment when someone asks you to tell them something about yourself and you’re drawing a complete blank, just like “WHO AM I?”. With online dating you wouldn’t have to worry about it, cause you’ll be at home, all cozy and relaxed. 5. No fear of rejection. You don’t have to actually face them and worry about what to say and how to react. In most cases online the conversation just sort of dies down and you both know it didn’t work, or maybe it’ll just be a message that says “sorry, this isn’t gonna work”. Either way it’s not scary at all, like it is IRL. In most cases if someone doesn’t like your profile they probably won’t contact you in the first place, so you don’t even have to think about rejection. As you can see in our impromptu pro and con list above, the disadvantages are few and ridiculous and the advantages outnumber them. So, stop worrying, choose a public place like a cinema or a restaurant for your first date and you should be fine. And no, it’s not dangerous. If you think about it, meeting random strangers in a dark club while you’re drunk is even more dangerous, but people do it all the time. see more at http://www.negroidhaven.com/2015/04/romance-online-dating-is-it-just-for.html

Does your boyfriend seem to devour soccer like a crazy madman? And his whole obsession over the game makes you a little bit nervous and irritable, doesn’t it? You can’t find the answer, why this is happening to your guy. But, maybe it’s because you aren’t familiar enough with the game? Let’s learn the real reasons why guys are simply mad about soccer. After reading these facts, you may even change your attitude towards this obsession. 1. Something to talk about. Guys don’t have to worry about having those deep conversations ; that we girls seem to get ourselves into; they talk about whatever’s in their heads. Even when they meet each other for the first time. And theylove talking about soccer. Soccer is actually a worldwide sport, so it’s not hard to sustain the conversation with foreign fans of the game. David Beckham, Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo… who doesn’t know these names? 2. Watching the game with friends or family. It’s always great seeing guys debating about the game and the players. They are having their boy fun to be sure! Especially when your favorite team is playing against the favorite team of your friends. The technology has reached a new level and it allows watching what’s going on the field in very high def TV pictures. 90 minutes of true excitement and big expectations and OMG all those multiple instant replays! 3. One of the most important reasons why guys enjoy the game are the techniques athletes show that are impossible to for the average guy to replicate. About 90 percent of fans actually play soccer. Some of them have grown up playing the game, dreaming of becoming pro soccer players. Watching the game is not only entertaining, it can teach you quite a lot. Some of the tricks a guy can discover are just priceless. 4. Favorite soccer player. A guy may have his own favorite athlete to worship. Sometimes, ladies like to watch sports too. Maybe, for completely different reasons. And while your guy enjoys the game, you can enjoy the nice view. If you know, what I’m talking about. 5. Wives and Girlfriends of soccer players. Yes, famous soccer players have private lives too, some of them have children and there’s a lot of drama and scandals going on around their relationships. Most of soccer players’ wives or girlfriends are celebrities, actresses, models so they usually attract a huge amount of attention. All we can say, soccer WAGs have secured a noticeable part in today’s soccer life as well. 6 The World Cup. This is the event that brings the whole country together – the whole planet for that matter! What can be more exciting than watching the matches along with billions of people all over the world, supporting your country’s team? The event generates a lot of good memories and tells who is the best in the world! |
Africans, including Nigerians have been attacked and many killed in different cities in South Africa in the last week or so. They are being slaughtered by Zulus who say Africans immigrants are taking their jobs. Many Nigerians who live and study in South Africa have taken to their Facebook pages sending out messages, letting people know what's happening to them. An 80-year-old woman known as the ‘Bleep Queen’ has revealed she has slept with more than 1,000 men and starred in a number of porn films. Shirley Andrews (pictured right) is one of a number of ‘super cougars’ who proudly boast about their active sex lives with hundreds of young men – some of who are less than a quarter their age. Despite living in an old people’s complex, Shirley boasts that she regularly has sex with men as young as 18 – in between knitting and crochet. The woman on the left is 92-year-old great-granny named Marge The outgoing octogenarian, who lives in Oroville California, even has a tattoo around her nipple that reads ‘Bleep Queen’ and launched a career in blue movies seven years ago. She said: “I made all of the videos at home. And I started posting them online and I just got rave reviews. "I just felt like a princess." Her biggest role was taking part in a filmed orgy involved fifteen much-younger men. Among Shirley's numerous fans is Kyle Jones, a 31-year-old lothario with a penchant for pensioners. Together they make amateur films and canoodle in public in broad daylight like loved-up teenagers. But Shirley, who has been married several times before, is not ready to settle down and currently has five guys under 30 on the go. She said: "I have had numerous proposals in the last five years. But none of them were with anyone I would want to spend the rest of my life with. "I would say I've slept with around a thousand men but I think it would probably be a little bit more than that. I've been around the block. I don't consider myself a nymphomaniac by any means but I'm probably close to it." Granny-lover Kyle (pictured), from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, also has six different elderly ladies, aged between 68 and 92, on the go. He regularly travels from the east coast across to California and down to Florida to visit his many women. His choice of lovers include 92-year-old great-granny Marge from Pennsylvania who dons sequin mini-dresses to entertain crowds as an erotic dancer. And 68-year-old widow Anna from Ohio has reignited her sexual passion since meeting adventurous Kyle. They met on an online dating site a few years after her husband died - much to her daughters' displeasure. Kyle's little black book of women appears on a one-off Channel 5 special called Nanna Love: 50 Shades of Grey about young men who prefer mature women to girls their own age. Out of all of Kyle's mature lovers, wild Shirley is his favourite. The pair met on the Internet and live 2,000 miles apart - which means they rarely get to spend time together. But when they do, their dates do not consist of an elegant dinner and a movie. The pair cannot keep their hands off each other, and even get intimate during an afternoon stroll in a local park. However, while Shirley is content with playing the field, Kyle may be considering his future with his favourite senior citizen. He said: "Shirley knows that I would have problem being with just one woman and I know that Shirley will have a problem with just one guy. "And even though I'm with other women, I don't know if I'll be okay with it with her. "Let's say at some point where I decide I'm just really super in love and I only want her, then it might mess with my head at some point that she was with someone else." Despite Shirley's unusual bedroom activities, the randy retiree enjoys much of the same hobbies as her friends. She said: "I currently live in a senior complex. I love to knit - I'm always knitting, crochet as well. I make a lot of gifts that way. "Plus it keeps me busy and out of trouble. It seems to be my middle name - trouble." see more http://www.negroidhaven.com/2015/03/entertainment-meet-great-grandmothers.html

By Efio-Ita Nyok| 28 March 2015| 9:00 am Today, Saturday 28 March has been set aside by Nigeria's electoral umpire, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), headed by Prof. Attahiru Jega, for the Nigerian electorate to cast their ballot in favour of any presidential and National Assembly candidates of their choices. Whereas, 11 April will witness gubernatorial & state assembly elections. It's trite fact that politics is a viable avenue where the people/masses enthrone or dethrone the views of government. And the masses do this through the ballot. These political views are what is referred to as ideology. And they are embodied in political parties. In fact, what distinguishes one political party from another is the ideological orientation. Nigeria has 26 registered political parties. But, only 11 of these have presidential candidates, in the 2015 general elections. Prominent among these presidential candidates are the PDP's Goodluck Jonathan, APC's Mohammadu Buhari and more recently Ms. Remi Sonaiya(Nigeria's first female candidate) of the KORA party. In my opinion, these political parties are bereft of ideologies. Their proliferation is not based on multiplicity of variant ideologies but on what one may not readily hinge an argument on. To the question, what is the ideology of the PDP or APC, etc? May incite a difficult response(s), if at all any. They say, theory precedes practice. And practice without theory is empty. The most any observant electorates has heard about the PDP is 'power to the people' and 'transformation', the APC keep eliciting such term as 'change'. That is all we hear for that is all they are and have. They hardly tell us how they intend to 'transform' or 'change' the ordinary Nigerian. Consequently, I am forced to dismiss them as not having an ideology. But, I stand to be corrected. In the absence of an ideology, sentiment of varied types take the centre stage. In the 2015 general elections, as in other general elections, the prevalent sentiments are religious and ethnic. Most, if not all Nigerians will vote for Buhari or Jonathan not on ideological grounds but on religio-ethnic considerations. Majority of the electorates will vote for Buhari because he is a Muslim and from the north of the country while others will vote for Jonathan because he is from the south and a Christian. This is pure sentiment. They won't be voted into public office because of the sound credentials of their policies if given the opportunity. As such, mediocrity, nepotism, tribalism, corruption, injustice, etc becomes the order of the day. The negative effect of enthroning sentiments cannot be emphasised. The consequences for the economy, body-politic and culture are negatively profound. It's the pro-sentiment politics, devoid of ideology, of this nation for about 4 republics that has preceded our downward spiral in virtually every sector of our statehood. This explains why I say that the APC, Nigeria's foremost political opposition party does not mean well for Nigerians. What do they want to do, and how do they want to accomplish it? They have the former but are wanting in the latter. As we proceed to the polling units, we should vote in favour of the ideology of the party despite its paucity and near inexistence. Sentiments of whatever orientation should be far from our considerations. We should try, and very hard to compare between 'change' and 'transformation' and the in depth components of these appellations before casting our votes. It's not too late to give thoughts to this before casting our votes in reality. follow the election as it unfolds http://www.negroidhaven.com/2015/03/politics-ballot-in-favour-of-ideology.html |
By Efio-Ita Nyok| 27 March 2015| 7:00 am 28 March and 11 April will go down well in the annals of this country as designated days in which Nigerians decided in favour of either 'change or transformation'. Considering the quality of opposition posed against the ruling political party, namely, the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) by the All Progressives Congress(APC) in the 2015 general elections billed for Saturdays 28 March and 11 April, there have been repeated calls for peace before, on and after elections. Numerous peace accords have been endorsed. In this edition, the political desk of Negroid Haven (NH) as chaired by Efio-Ita Nyok shall explore reasons why Nigerians should subscribe to a politics of nonviolence during the forthcoming elections. 1. Nigerians Partake In the Concept of 'Humanity'. Nigerians are human beings; and humans, amongst other things, have been described as being rational. That is, they think, reason, reflect, contemplate, etc over issues. To resort to violence will undermine this illustrious paraphernalia that all humans share in. Violence doesn't suggests that we think, etc. It speaks otherwise. No right thinking Nigerian should resort to violence. There are institutions to address our displeasure of any sort, including that of politics. 2. It Will Ensure Continued Unity. Nigeria comprises over 250 ethnicities. She is a multilingual society. It's a beautiful thing to see all these disparate tribes blending into a lump called Nigeria. Other members of the international community admire this uniqueness. Part of our greatness subsist in our unity in the midst of diversity. Violence will undermine this beautiful phenomenon. It will challenge the fact that Nigeria is not 'a mere geographical expression'. Love is the greatest theme. 3. It Will Define Our Sovereign National Genius(SNG). By sovereign national genius (SNG) I mean to refer to that distinctive feature that defines any sovereign nation as been unique. Every state has this. For Nigeria it is -resilience! You often here people say that Nigeria is an enigma, that a little as what happen in Nigeria, happen to other countries which causes the extinction of those countries, but more than that happen to Nigeria, and she still continues unfettered, as if nothing happened. Resilience is our 'selling point', it's our distinguishing genius. To resort to violence is to betray this national spirit. 4. Politics Is Diametrically Opposed To Violence. It was Dr. Myles Munroe who said that when purpose is not known, abuse is inevitable. When the essence of politics is not known, then the abuse of it is certain. If we resort to violence it suggest very strongly that we are ignorant of the purpose of politics. Politics entails the means by which any human society determine which view of government should prevail. Thus, it embodies negotiation. This explain why some refer to it as the peaceful means of resolving conflict. Here, one bring to mind the popular phrase: 'political solution', as against military solution. It stands to reason then that to then employ violence, as a means of determining which party should be voted into power, implies that you don't understand politics. In fact, you are negating the very essence of politics. We should play the game according to its rule. Any individual seeking public office but encourages violence is not a politician. 5. Violence Is Not A Component of Africa's Traditional Values. Africa is distinctive from other continents of the world courtesy of its values system. For instance, scholars argue that Africans have respect for religion and the sacred. J. S. Mbiti once remarked in one of his seminal pieces that a typical African is 'notoriously religious'. Besides religion, the typical African has a value for life. Put differently, the value for human life is a paramount component of our values system. Nigeria is a leading African state and should thus express this value in preeminent degrees. Violence -political or otherwise, is 'un-African'. 6. The Strategic Implication of Nigeria's Political Violence In Africa. Apart from the fact that violence is 'un-African', political violence in Nigeria will certainly have a spiral effect on West African states and the continent as a whole. That is to say, as a big brother in Africa, political stability or otherwise, have consonant effects on other African countries. Would you want Africa to be sliced off the universe because of our irresponsibility? Nigeria's political instability or otherwise is Africa's political instability or otherwise. Let's strengthen democratic ideals in Africa by not resorting to political violence. 7. Democracy Is Absolutely About The People. Democracy was rightly defined as government of, for and by the people. Democracy is not of, by and for the elite(Oligarchy). Political instability/violence ensues when we mistake democracy to be the latter rather than the former. Rigging or any other shade of electoral malpractice is anti the people. Exploring the route of violence to address discontent is anti the people. The people -the Nigerian people, should occupy a paramount place in the scheme of things among politicians. Anything they intend to do should be done in view of the people. Nothing more, nothing less. They should ask them selves, if all these people die because of me, who then would I govern? We should give thoughts to these submissions as we cast our votes beginning from tomorrow in favour of whatsoever party of our choice. We should remember and always remember that peace is one of the greatest themes. Long live Nigeria! see more at http://www.negroidhaven.com/2015/03/politics-7-unassailable-reasons-why.html
