The students also learn how to promote maternal and child health, prevent complications, and manage emergencies in midwifery practice.

The programme is open to candidates who have at least five credits in the WASSCE or the NECO or their equivalents. The credits must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, obtained in not more than two sittings. The candidates must also pass the entrance examination and interview conducted by the school.

Post Basic Midwifery
