“Let me tell you a story of a boy who grew up in Calabar.” This was the kick-off phrase by Gaius Chibueze as he delivered his keynote address at the first-ever Bitcoin Conference with Bitcoin Chief that was held on the 6th of December 2019.

The founder and Chief Marketing Officer of ABiT Mobile Applications, Mr. Gaius Chibueze, popularly known as bitcoin_chief, gave an enthralling opening at the conference by giving a brief story on his life and the impact of cryptocurrency knowledge in his growth.

He believes that Africa can be better through decentralization and the early adoption of cryptocurrency. He spoke largely on considerable plans and actions that have been put in place for the empowerment of Africans under the ABiT network, which is an ecosystem of platforms and products powered by blockchain technology focused on the daily lives of Africans.

At the event, Mr. Nyce Ayuk, who is a veteran online marketer emphasized that there is currently a shift going on in the global workspace. He pointed out that this shift will mean that everyone can become a billionaire, particularly when one plugs into the cryptocurrency revolution.

The game plan of the Arab nation and the lessons for Africa was outlined by Mr. Chris Ani, while, Mr. Tony offered insights into how the media can be leveraged to drive education and adoption of cryptocurrency in Africa.

The event was overflow with cryptocurrency enthusiasts, investors, and traders across about 10 countries in Africa, Turkey, Abu Dhabi, France, and the UK who showed great interest in partnerships and investments, that will enhance cryptocurrency investment in Africa.

The event wasn’t merely focused on the conference but was also spiced up by a tour around the Safari desert that included an international dinner, camel riding, tour of notable locations in Dubai amongst other activities.

The movement continues as the event ended with commendations and inquires on the next tour which is already scheduled to hold in Houston, Texas and Atlanta, Georgia by the 29th and 22nd of December respectively.
