I called my ex who actually bought two shops there as at the time we were still dating..the issue they are facing is not about selling it..their problem is that Lagos state wants to be collecting money from the traders monthly which is something as paying for the shop rent monthly..shops they didn't build.. God save my brother's and sisters.

We all can wait for your filthy asses to leave! It will be the greatest day of celebration in Yoruba! Peace, sanity and tranquility will finally return! Then we can have genuine investors come in. Not some flat head criminals!

It is a gradual process. Igbos generally are beginning to learn from Yoruba and Hausa-Fulanis, they are gradually de investing from Lagos.

Igbo guys no longer buy land in Lagos like they used to some years back. Many Igbo guys I know now prefer to buy in Owerri, Enugu, Asaba, Onitsha, Awka, PHC, Aba than Lagos.

Its mostly the Igbos living in Lagos now that still buy land in Lagos, mostly to build a residential house to their taste and to stop paying rent, but the rest of their building projects goes to Southeast, PHC, Asaba.

All my friends who live abroad refused to buy a single land or house in Lagos. Some have three - four different buildings in various cities in Southeast, and if u check, Owerri and Enugu property values are coming up as a result of this recent shift of property investment by Igbo people who are being pushed away from Lagos by Yorubas.

So its a matter of time, and it will definitely affect Lagos property value, and I pray the Nigerian breakup Yorubas are indirectly pushing for now happens, by then, we will see how far with Lagos and how they will continue to threaten Igbos when majority will flee Lagos for them to enjoy as they have been clamoring for of recent.

It will happen, just time.
