Blackett: If there was ever anyone who fit the description of an online sadist, it had to be this guy. This guy was known to go from thread to thread insulting people and being bitter.

His signature stated that "he was allergic to bullshit and he suffered fools gladly," and this guy really enjoyed suffering fools.

Many said he was the former mod sexkillz who had been striped of his moderating duties along with his lover ogugua88 in 2014 after a tussle with the owner of nairaland, over the mr and mrs nairaland competition, but although his mannerism, comments and font style bore similarity to that of the mod, blackett has always denied that claim.

During the wooing contest in may, the notorious blackett was wooed by nneke123 and mznelly, but as was the competition rules, he had to choose one person as the winner and he chose nneka123 and after that, the two began an online romance which would end after Nneka123 was revealed to be fake.

Since then, blackett has stopped frequenting Nairaland and some people believe it's because of this.

The Darkenedrebel, Dimples192 and Lala247 saga:
When anyone wants to advice someone about not revealing offline information to anyone you meet online, the controversial case involving these three is always a perfect example.

On the morning of the aftermath of one of the most interesting e-fights on romance section, a lot of romancelanders would wake up to find over 50 deleted posts on romance section derailers thread, and a couple of deactivated monikers.

This left a lot of people wondering what had happened.

According to sources who had stayed all through the night to witness the epic showdown before Ishilove deleted most of the posts, few weeks prior to that night, lala247 and her fellow british friend dimples192/chiam55/nubian113 had a little quarrel online and lala247 went offline to bad mouth her friend, dimples192 to a guy she didn't know had the mouth of a parrot, in the person of darkrebel666/darkenedrebel

So on that faithful night, when the multiple e-fight was going on, darkenedrebel decided to post snapshots of the offline chats with lala247 where she insulted and revealed confidential stuff about dimples192.
Lala who hadn't insulted anyone once on nairaland, erupted into an abusive volcano and battled darkrebel, sonofmark and many other males who were dissapointed at her character. The e-fight ended with lala deactivating her account.

But it still wouldn't end there. What darkrebel did put him on the radar as an immature snitch and caused an emenity between him and his former friend, thesonofmark who would later on exposed him as a fake.

The aftermath of all this also dealt a huge blow on the ethopian born, british based dimples192/chiam55/nubian113 and she started reducing the amount of time she spent on nairaland. After a lot of e-fights with the thesonofmark and constant bullying by darkrebel, she couldn't bear it any longer and had to deactivate two of her accounts and later resurrected few weeks ago with nubian113

Ishilove: Ishilove was just your typical everyday moderator until she was handed the job of moderating romance section. The calm ishilove transformed into a lioness, devoring every prey at any chance she got.

To say Ishilove was ruthless, was an understatement. She banned defaulters like it was food for her. She would stay on nairaland all through the day and even to later parts of the night, punishing rule breakers and deleting threads and hiding posts, and in spite of all this, she didn't break a sweat. She relished her new found job, a job she wasn't even getting paid for.

Ishilove created a lot of enemies and haters on romance section and even made some Nairalanders reveal characters that no one knew them for. An example of this was the case of Kingtom. No one knew kingtom could get angry and insult a woman until ishilove banned him. Kingtom was so annoyed that he showered insults on ishilove like he was spraying money on her, and of course like the rest, ishilove extented his ban.

Kingtom's conscience began to prick him and he had no choice but to apologize publicly to ishilove and ishilove forgave the young doctor.

But on september of 2015, ishilove resigned of her moderating duties over an issue with seun_ on the auto section. On the night of her resignation, their was massive celebration and jolification on romance section as people were happy that the tyrant no more had the power she once had.

Missclassy: Some say she is a guy, some say she is possessed, some call her smart, some say she is mentally unstable.
Missclassy took nairaland by storm in the early months of 2015 with a series of multiple monikers.

But after sometime he/she decided to stick to the moniker; missclassy.

She was known to go from thread to thread with her bad attitude, insulting folks, arguing arrogantly, but intelligently, and causing a menace. But all this didn't stop missclassy from making lots of friends and of course creating a few enemies.

People even began linking her to a past mod ogugua88 saying she bore similarities in character and writing style and missclassy also cemented the truth on this assumption by having an infatuation with blackett, who a lot of people believe to be the former mod sexkillz.

On july of 2015, missclassy made a mistake that she would regret. She had a feud with the no nonsense mod ishilove over a small issue and she was banned for 3 months. Missclassy created various accounts to display her annoyance and attack ishilove, but ishilove wasn't having any of that and she increased the ban.

Anyway, sources have it that missclassy later pleaded with ishilove and was forced created an apology thread on romance section apologizing to ishilove for her wrong doing.

Under circumstances unknown to many, missclassy later deactivated, but some say he/she is still lurking around with another username.

The Tosyne2much and Diddydiva scandal:
The offline relationship between the guy with the top ten list and his pretty girlfriend hit the rocks in mid of 2015 in one of the most controversial and shocking ways.

According to sources, tosyne2much had bought an expensive gift for his girlfriend and the girlfriend had accepted this expensive gift which obviously he worked had to get, but still went ahead to cheat on him.

Tosyne couldn't handle the heart break and after breaking up with her, he shared this experience with some of his friends on nairaland who in turn attacked diddydiva for what she did.

Diddydiva couldn't handle the shame and pain and she had to deactivate her account.

Nneka123: After registering in january of 2015, Nneka became one of the most popular female Nairalanders. She started off with an aggressive personality which she later stated was because a lot of people were accusing her to be fake.

But after the accusations died down, she started showing a part of herself that people came to love and embrace.

She had a lot of guys struggling to get her attention. Notable among them was the likes of rickyrichards would not make a comment without mentioning her username.

But during the wooing contest, Nneka put all those guys shut when she decided to woo the guy who she says stole her heart; the notorious blackett.
But on august of 2015 something would happen that would shock the whole of romance section.

Tashaamania, a fellow nairalander who was studying in the school nneka123 said she was studying revealed to everyone a secret only she knew about. She revealed that the person on the picture that nneka123 used as her dp was a friend of hers by the name of wendy and that she wasn't even a Nairalander and that Nneka123 was impersonating her.

This was a big blow for all the guys who were crushing on the Nneka123 moniker as it dawned on them that they could have been crushing on a guy.

Nneka123 couldn't deal with the shame and she deactivated her account.

Thesonofmark: No one knew who this Ibibio born articulate male until after the nairaland wooing contest in may of 2015, when he decided to make a name for himself by becoming the slayer....

This guy would intentionally get into e fights with notable female monikers just to draw attention to himself. His battles with the likes of victoriabee, firsteva and other female monikers generated a lot of traffic to the derailers thread.

Asides the derailers thread this guy was also known to engage in e-fights in other sections of nairaland, include family, politics and even setting up e-fights in the rap battles section with the likes of coogar.

Obviously, e-fights wasn't enough for this dude and he had to create a new identity for himself as the nairaland chief detective and exposer of fake usernames.

Lala247: The british based Nigerian cutie born to a Yoruba dad and Igbo mum, took romance section by storm in 2015. She had a daring personality everyone loved and an body that guys yearned to get a taste of.

But something happened that would change the Nairaland fate of this daring young woman.

She started to make offline contacts with some friends here on Nairaland and in doing that she made the biggest mistake she would later regret. After talking bad and snitching on one of her pals on nairaland, the person she snitched to, came on nairaland to post the details of their offline chat.

Lala247 who was previously an angel in everyone's eyes, was now seen as a wolf, a traitor and a pretender. Lala couldn't handle the disgrace and the shame and she had to deactivate her account. She later resurrected with ladyboss1, but the shame of her earlier mistakes still hunted her and she deactivated again.
