Wristbangle made his own share of impact on romance section after creating the weekly romance section interview show, a platform where popular Nairalanders could be interviewed and asked series of question.

Despite the success of this show and time he put into it, the interview session came to an abrupt end after wristbangle, previously wristwatch deactivated his account, as a result of a feud he had with a certain romance section moderator.

After creating his wristbangle account he decided to follow the footsteps of his friend tosyne2much by creating his own top 8 threads.
Although, sources have it that it is infact tosyne2much that helps him write his own lists. But I can't verify if this is true or not.

Victoria presented her share of impact on romance section with her strong stance on feminism and her willingness to battle anyone in any argument that where feminism was the subject of discussion.

She also was at the heart of a lot of famous and interesting, traffic generating e-fights with a lot of popular romance section warlords notably the likes of thesonofmark.

Ireneony: Humour was one of the main reasons a lot of people frequented romance section and Irene provided the bulk of this humour

Her threads always had that element of hilarity and controversy and most times the threads always ended up in e-fights with her being involved.

She wasn't also ashamed to profess her love for the _seun the nairaland owner and was relentless in spite of being banned and insulted by fellow nairalanders on many occasions.

Ishilove: Before ishilove became a romance section moderator, trolls moved freely and vile comments and e-fights were the order of the day, but after agreeing to moderate romance section, sanity was restored.

Ishilove loved her job and she devoted all her time to it. Many claimed she lived on her bed, and on it with her laptop beside her, was where she stayed all through the time she was a moderator. Few claimed she only left the bed to cook, bath and use the toilet.

According to sources, ishilove was responsible for the increase in the amount of users on romance section and Nairaland in general as many romancelanders created new accounts after she had banned their original accounts and even subsequent ones.

Among her victims were the likes of Ipledge who after being banned created ipledge2, 3 4, 5,6,7,8 all the way to Ipledge9 and all were banned.

His torment ended when ishilove resigned and he created his current moniker, Ipledge10

Her other victims were the likes of dharray78-99, jacksparrow0712 and the other jacksparrows and humanbeing1st- humanbeing12th, among others.

Mizmycoli:
Before leaving romance section to join her fellow tanoids and tribal bigots in politics section, mizmycoli's and her long epistles were a regular on romance section. Although a lot of people considered them boring and sleep inducing, one couldn't help but admire her intelligent write-ups and professional relationship advice she rendered to those who needed them, despite the fact that she was a novice in relationships.

Asides the long essays she forced into the faces of romancelanders, she also was among the planning committee and also doubled as a judge in the Mr and Miss Nairaland competition.

Although she came second in the miss nairaland competition, this good hearted lady won the hearts of many with her graceful personality, maturity, wise comments and beautiful threads.

Although having impacted romance section in a lot of negative ways, she still lightened the hearts of many through intelligent comments, and also being influential in the success of the wooing competition by co-hosting the womens edition and presenting her popular, hilarious news/amebo session, during the nomination stage, that every one couldn't help but like and enjoy.

Tosyne2much: The man with the top 10 lists didn't slack this year as he dropped over 30 of his scintillating, traffic garnering, top 10 threads on romance section.

And although he got constant opposition from people who claimed his threads were myopic and immature, notably among them, the likes of blackett and freecocoa, he still didn't get discouraged, and even expanded his threads to other sections.

Lala247: One doesn't always have to host a charity show or plan a big event in other to put smiles on people's faces. Sometimes ones personality and character is all that's needed and lala247 was an epitome of this.

Lala247 was romance section's most down to earth and friendly personality of 2015. Her kind comments and warm personality became something that a lot of people especially the guys adored. Every body loved lala247, and surprisingly it wasn't for her big ass or her body, but just for her character.

Their were rumors of people shedding tears and even threatening to take their lives after they discovered that she deactivated her account.

Dygeasy: After taking the mantle from Dxplorer1, this year was another great year for the Nairaland chief host and mc of events, Dygeasy.

He was responsible for the planning and success of various events held on romance section, including the notable Mr and Miss Nairaland contest, and the wooing contest, males edition.

Blackett:
Living up to his signature; "I am allergic to bullshit, I suffer fools gladly" the notorious blackett helped in curbing the foolishness on romance section with his blunt comments and bold insults aimed at trolls, attention seekers and those he considered to be fools.

Although he was banned on various occasions, for breaking rule 2, the light that ignited his desire to be the sufferer of fools never went off, and he lyrically tortured them on every thread he found them, and whenever blackett was around, fools weren't given any breathing space.

2015 will be a memorable year in that would live long in the hearts of a lot of many romancelanders, and I present to you a run down of the people that actually made this year what it was.

Rokiatu and _Farano scandal & The Rokiatu Ass scandal:

In june of 2015 rokiatu engaged in a exchange of words with some romancelanders on a particular thread on romance section. On that fateful day, Rokiatu was served a ban by the mod _farano for breaking rule 2, but the people who rokiatu was quarreling with, weren't banned.

Rokiatu became angry and created another account to pour out her frustrations but farano didn't listen and banned that one too.

Rokiatu then vowed never to comment on romance section ever again, and she had since stuck to her vow.

Also, sources close to me have revealed that Rokiatu's backside which she has become popular for is actually fake and the pictures she posts are actually pictures of her padded ass.

All this controversy has led to Rokiatu not frequenting nairaland as before, ignoring her friends and spending all her nairaland time on celebrities and tv/movies section.

Ireneony and Seun_ Scandal:
Irene oyebuchi, the big breasted Edo state based lady who had a hard time spelling words correctly, had a serious obsession that would make her one of the most controversial characters on romance section: an obsession with _seun, the owner of Nairaland.

She was fond of creating threads upon threads professing her love for the young man, and sadly she was always ignored.

On one fateful day, the man whom she admired and was supposedly in love with, gave her a long ban for making herself a nuisance on his forum and for trying to defame the admin by giving the public the impression that something was going on between the both of them.

Sources close revealed that seun_ warned Ireneony to desist from creating such threads and the ban was later removed. Since then, Irene has stopped professing her love for _Seun.

The Wristwatch/Wristbangle and Rocktation_ scandal

On june of 2015, xynerise opened a thread on romance section asking old and new romancelanders to suggest ways to better the section and make it more fun, as it was before.

Then suddenly, a brilliant idea came the not too popular nairalander, wristwatch.
He deviced a platform in form of a thread created once a week where nairalanders would be interviewed and people would ask them questions about their lives.
He worked with the likes of tosyne2much, midehi, mhizkel and ronald4lif as they helped him make the idea a success.

This new innovation generated traffic to romance section and gained popularity for wristwatch. Lots of popular nairalanders including Lalasticlala_, obinoscopy_ ishilove, dygeasy, barcanister among others were interviewed on this show and everyone like the idea, except one...Rocktation_

According to her, and although her fellow moderator ishilove was okay with the thread being on romance section, she felt it should be on dating and meet-up zone so it would generate traffic for the section.

Wristwatch pleaded with her to allow the thread stay on romance section so as to attract viewers and once the interview is ended she could move it to the other section, but the mod didn't listen.

Rocktation_ warned wristwatch that if he disobeyed her, and create the thread on romance section, that she would ban him.

On 6:00 on sunday of that fateful day, as was the normal schedule for the interview, wristwatch after sending numerous mails to rocktation_ with non of them being replied, he created the interveiw thread on romance section and rocktation_ banned him.

Wristbangle couldn't handle the annoyance and he deactivated his account.
After a week, he resurrected with his new moniker; Wristbangle and the interview came to an abrupt end.
