I know of a boy then(he was 21 or so then,I was only 16) he played ball together back in rukuba barrack ,His entire battalion died fighting in bama ,when we went to welcome the troops back home as the landed in Airforce run ways and transported to the barrack (Cinema centre) battaliond by battalions came out from the Big army luxury busses ,We search for naku,but no sight of him ,The soldiers that already came were cuddling with their wives and kids ,some familes,before they brought out coffins from the busses with Nigerian flag covered with it ,Many people who couldn't find their love ones broke down crying ,Some were patient enough to check the name written on the coffins, I and naku mother along side other boys from our block were checking in hope that naku name's not written in any ,Some one shouted ,I turned back to see naku's mother crying beside a coffin, sitting down on bare floor, My mind skip,I hurriedly went to see for my self ,private Naku danjuma ,I couldn't hold back the tears ,I cried more than the mother ,since then my view of the military changed.

we've lost many good men and women to this war,Yet the Nigerian public will rather spit on this than ignore

Only the soldiers and barack boys can say what the military is facing.
My Dad Has lost friends in this war. No matter how you hate a soldier in the barack, you won't want his name to come out in the list of the deployed in maiduguri.
The military is trying for Nigerian and the Present administration is trying their best for them because the president was once a soldier and he fought a war.
