ufotunang: ...she will be good in law as a lawyer, or mass communication, journalism, TV and radio presenter, motivational speaker, English lecturer...she will be good in Arts courses And also observe the skills and talents she has
What career path do I advise for my daughter? Currently in J.S.S 1, she's so good at English language which has earned her several awards and commendations right from her primary school.
Although, this is her first examination at Faith Academy Secondary School, but she has started to draw the usual accolades and commendations both from her class teacher, particularly her English teacher who walked up to her in class to single her for praise as she scored 100% percent in English Language which the subject teacher acknowledged that the feat was unprecedented from her students.
In contrast, she is not as good in mathematics as she does in English language, which can be traced to the poor mathematics background from her previous schools, but I have made several arrangements to encourage her so that she can improve and get better in mathematics.
My career advice and counsel for her from the outset is for her to study Nursing or any discipline in the medical profession, but with this development, I am thinking otherwise, of she has to shift focus and major in Arts & humanities or to put extra more effort to proceed into the medical profession, particularly to become a Nurse or Doctor as we have envisaged and for which she has a strong passion.
Career advisor and Counsellors, come in and drop your expertise.
bennybuhari: The picture speaks volume. The lady that accompanied Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi came prepared with work tools, but our man is just sitting idle. Probably got appointed by virtue of party loyalty. Just look at him, looking on while the lady was taking notes.
Bodydiialect57: A woman was narrating to me how the doctor in the private clinic where she'd registered had already booked her for CS, and she agreed to it only for her to join an antenatal programme in a church maternity home close to her house and subsequently delivered her baby there naturally.
The huge bill charged for CS always favours the doctors.
Yes, the doctors are more interested on the bills now than the health of mother and baby
Gistmedia10: Four young men were banished for life from a community in Benin, Nigeria, after allegedly being caught engaging in a same-sex relationship—an act deemed unlawful in the country.
The local community, enraged by the situation, gathered to publicly shame the boys before ordering them never to return. An angry mob warned, “Don’t come to Upper again,” as the accused were forced into a tricycle headed for an unknown destination. Despite their fury, the community spared their lives, choosing exile as a form of punishment instead.
Eyewitnesses described the boys as sitting dejectedly in the tricycle, visibly ashamed as they departed. The incident has sparked heated reactions online.
Netizens shared mixed views on the matter. Some expressed support for the community’s decision, with one comment reading, “Na so e suppose be now! But una no suppose allow them enter the same keke! Them fit go start family now for new location.”
Others criticized the focus on such issues, saying, “Nigerians getting triggered over inconsequential issues.”
...but the craze for CS births amongst women in Nigeria today alarming? For the four children that my wife delivered, all were through the God endowed natural birthing. In all the four occasions Kubwa General Hopital, Abuja, she never spent more than 30 minutes in the labour/delivery room and babies and mum were always coming out fine. All glory to God for these.
I ask again, why the craze for CS births amongst Nigerian women?
Which level is he even referring to? Oh! He became a governor, senator, and minister. Is Umahi the only one that has attained such a level? And what makes him think that the Rep member won't attain such a level, especially in a country like Nigeria where anyone can become anything?
Instead of giving answers to the questions raised by the Rep member about why our federal roads are in a worse state, he is busy engaging in a dick measuring contest.
NgeneUkwenu: CUSTOM IS THE MOST CORRUPT GOVT AGENCY IN NIGERIA. EVEN THE SO CALLED NO NONSENSE WOMAN IS ALSO A THIEF.
USELESS PEOPLE.
No nonsense people in customs are always maligned and even silenced either diabolically or otherwise. It happened to one of my uncles who was a honest and incorruptible customs officer. He was attacked spiritually with paralysis and got retired. He later lived a wretched life.

[quote author=dkidd post=132421443]This story no clear... What do u mean anointed? No governor or government has the power or authority to crown any traditional ruler in Edo state as a whole. Tradition is very separate from government. Except its not Edo state [/quote
This is the position of those opposing the new clan ahead. But the Governor is really not be blamed. Against the traditional practice, the kingmakers nominated and submitted 3 names to the Governor to pick one person. This was submitted to him about 3 2 years ago, but ot took the Governor after loosing elections to pick and install PDP stalwart as the clan head.
kingthreat: Hope no be cultism related sha. Because in Edo state, it is hard to find a family without a confraternity member.
It's a crises that erupted as a result of kingship. What happened is that a new clan head was anointed and installed by Obaseki. This did not go down to a lot of the people in Okpella. Crises erupted and later turned to cult war between the dreaded Eiye and Aye in the community. About 3 persons were killed and several others wounded. The said Uroy was reportedly and influential member of one of the cult groups and was killed as retaliation by the killings of 2 members of a rival cult group. May his soul rest in peace.
Is she actually a prophetess? No wonder she called herself a traditional prophetes. Anyway, see her performing rituals or deliverances for members in a river:
ExAngel007: A Nigerian lady, Jannifer Emmanuel Sunday has taken to her Facebook page to accuse her best friend, Chinwedu Mmirimma of snatching her husband, Don Peso.
Jannifer made the claim after Chinwendu, a prophetess and church General Overseer recently tied the knot with Don Peso.
In a Facebook post, Jannifer alleged that her friend Chinwendu used juju to tie her husband and snatch him from her.
See post below:
It appears that Jennifer was not married to the man, but merely dating. At a point, Jennifer told the man she does not love the man, because the man is not man enough to impregnate her. At the last count and before this event, Jennifer had a baby in June, 2024, but am not sure if it's for the Mr. Emmanuel.
By the way, see the picture of the "husband snatcher" below:
