I was trying to give alternatives like Nursing since there are professional nurses which specifically specialise like stroke medicine. There's one currently handling a woman in the Church. He comes from time to time.
There's is Dentistry and there is oral pathology since there are some neurological manifestations which can be discovered on time and corrected by Dentists or referred for further corrections. There is Oral and maxillofacial surgery which can correct some facial deformities caused by stroke.
There's Masters in Diagnostic Radiography which can Help detect early signs of stroke and correct it.
I love medicine and I don't like it if disagreeing with some people on this platform means I hate it

This is the problem of Nigeria and will continue to be for a long time.
I never told him not too study medicine. I told him to reconsider it because Medicine is expensive. Did you not read his story? He will Train himself. That is not even the issue sef. You fail to comprehend and that is our biggest problem in Nigeria.
You could get angry with my post but I am being Logical here. Did you ask him the field he will like to do? Alternatives, Pros and cons?
You are definitely older than me but you don't sound like it.

Good evening Doctors

Thank you all for all you do. I have been following this thread for a while now and I must first thank you all.

I'm a 3rd year medical student in Nigeria. The issue bothering me right now is my olevel results. It is all C's. My question is will this credit parallel waec result affect me in anyway during housejob hunt and Residency in surgery?

Will it in any way reduce my chances in the above mentioned situation?
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Abuyunus93: 11:52pm On May 28, 2020
Good evening everyone
I'd be processing my Visa application very soon.
My issue of concern is this:
On my birth certificate, the names there are 'Abu Yunus Mohammed Kabir'
On my national passport and every of my other documents, I'm only using the first 3 names; ' Abu Yunus Mohammed'. The surname, first name and other name corresponds just that the fourth name is only present in the birth certificate and no where else. Is this a problem at all for the UK Visa application and even for future applications and interviews?

I m not an aspirant. I completed my NYSC last year but I don't need to shalaye. Always resist the urge to shalaye. Pray for aspirants to gain admission not me. Go nd live ur life while I live mine
I actually don't understand why people just come here and lie. What do you actually stand to gain? You're a doctor this, you've done nysc that.. insulting people that have sown positive seeds in the lives of real medical students. Anyways, change and be humble! It can at least make Medical school more inundating for you if you eventually get the admission
