Lagos Govt Demolishes Ola Of Lagos’ Car Showroom
The demolition of the car showroom belonging to social media influencer and car dealer, Ola of Lagos (Waris Olayinka Akinwande), by the Lagos State Government was a recent event, reportedly revealed on a Saturday in mid-October 2025.

The Lagos State Government carried out the demolition of his car showroom, OOL Autos.

While the Lagos State Government did not immediately issue a specific official statement for the demolition of Ola of Lagos' showroom, the action aligns with the state's broader ongoing enforcement drive against illegal and unsafe structures.

The most widespread speculation among social media users is that the showroom was demolished because it was allegedly built beneath a high-tension power line, which is a severe violation of safety and urban planning regulations.

The demolition is part of a recurring pattern where the Lagos State Government removes structures—including illegal developments, those without statutory approvals, or those built on road setbacks, drainages, or rights-of-way—to enforce physical planning laws, curb flooding, and improve public safety in the highly congested state.

The government has been actively demolishing various illegal structures across Lagos, including at the Trade Fair Complex and in areas like Lekki, citing the need to restore order and protect essential infrastructure.

Well both are just wasting their time, people fail to understand the removal of subsidy removal and the impact it will cause. No Good governance can work well under subsidy except it is removed, highly level of corruption in it, almost the richest people in this country have business with Oil.
All this filling station should be forced to operate under so called Nigeria own filling station like NNPC, TOTAL etc by putting policy in place to have a clear cut of this IPMAN
