I learnt how to drive with automatic car. My car is automatic and had never driven a manual car until few days ago when change of location left me with no other option than to start driving a manual car(the only car available for me to move around). I had a 2 hour training and this was enough for me to at least move the vehicle around and i have been driving it for 5 days now. But i had a little problem this morning when i wanted to move the car. The car was packed right behind another and the ground was slope. This means i have to reverse so that i dont touch the car before me, but each time i take my leg off the break pedal before i put it on the accelerator, the car moves closer to the car before me, i'd step on the brake again. This continued till i touched the car with my bumper, then i was able to reverse without the car moving forward. I just want to know what i would have done to stop the car from moving forward before putting my leg on the accelerator. Pls dont mind my inexperience. |

@ ifey1900 It is a well known fact that our HR persons have so much respect for qualifications earned outside the shores of Naija. It is no longer news that a candidate with the certificate of a 2 months summer course in fashion, hotel management, make-up or drama will be considered suitable for a banking job by our HR personell that another candidate who spent 4 years in UNILAG, UI, OAU, UNN or any other Nigerian Universities. What a shame! |
