is MTN a network provider or a fraud route? It is high time the literate public rise to the defence of the unsuspecting population who are constantly and unknowingly defrauded by theft route of MTN. Even the enlightened public are unaware sometimes when they are rused. Are you really in charge of your device and the services therein? Not totally from my experience. I have just finished conversing with a call centre representative at 1.52pm, this day 27-01-2016 and registered my displeasure, unfortunately to a call desk. But I hope this gets to the management. An automated digit programmed by MTN calls my line +55515, I pick and there is a deafening silence, then I put off the call. In no time MTN N sends a message telling me I successfully subscribed for a service I know nothing about. This is the case when you reject the call as well. THIS IS FRAUD IN IT'S HIGHEST FORM AND SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE. While the customer care rep successfully unsubscribed the service, my 15naira was not refunded. That money seems very little but by the time they have done that to their 60million subscribers for a variety of such services where they subscribe you without your consent for one too many of such fraudulent services, the plunder and robbery amounts in billions. I just wonder if NCC is aware. EFCC and the Justice system should investigate this abnormalities and concious stealing by a corporation that already makes trillions with a service that is not consummate to the stinking profits they send back home. If you have been bickering in silence, register your displeasure, Nigeria just got an overhaul and we are not to be taken for granted henceforth, but only when the silent majority whom have been defrauded of not only their resources but the frustration attending this criminality promoted by a corporation that is carcinogenic and deeply festering into the pockets of an unsuspecting public whom are supposed to be your customers. So, one cannot pick up calls or reject them for fear of MTN? Nah, this is got to stop. If I had my way, it's litigation and I bet you MTN would pay through their proboscis, yet, I won't relent, I ll just wait because it is in the nature of capitalism to repeat itself when it's about greed. MTN? Stupid green-eyed monsters. All of you should just speak out and be heard somehow. Am just so infuriated by this despicable acts, imagine the kind of discomfiture when you are having just 50bucks on your cell. Capitalist vamp wankers. A.S Jang |

#JFK @InauguralAddress1961 “Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, in order to assure the survival and the success of liberty.” J. F Kennedy. SEE HOW AND WHAT THEY MAKE OF GOVERNMENT FOR THEIR PEOPLE. THEY SPEND THEIR TIME BATTLING ISSUES AND AGENDA THAT REFLECT THEIR VISION. OVER HERE, OVER HALF THE TIME IN OFFICE, GOVERNMENT IS PREOCCUPIED WITH AN UNCONSTRUCTIVE OPPOSITION; A CATALOGUE OF CRONIES TO REPAY; AN INSIGNIFICANT NUMBER OF A STRONG CABAL TO WRESTLE; MULTIPLE FOREIGN ACCOUNTS TO STASH; AN UNPATRIOTIC FOLLOWERSHIP. GOVERNMENT HERE IS A SORT OF ROTATION FOR CONVENIENCE -(GOVERNMENT HERE, MEANING THE LEADERS AND FOLLOWERS AS WELL)-. YOUR SIDE COMES IN, SERVES HIS TEAM THEN MAKES WAY FOR ANOTHER TEAM. NIGERIA IS HARDLY ONE TEAM NOW, EVEN AMONGST THE POOR, ALL ARE DIVIDED IN EVERY RESPECT BUT HUNGER, YET, IT DOESN'T UNIFY THEM. PERHAPS, THE ONLY TIME PEOPLE GENUINELY STOOD AS ONE IS DURING THE 1996 OLYMPICS IN ATLANTA. TO AN EXTENT, 1994 ABIOLA/KINGIBE TICKET UNDER SDP, AND TO A LESSER EXTENT BUT A NOTABLE DEGREE, IN THE RECENT ELECTIONS, 2015. BENUE, NIGER AND PLATEAU WERE A SURPRISE. I JUST WONDER IF OUR GOVERNMENT CAN STICK TO THEIR GUNS, BE SELFLESS AND ACCOMMODATING TO ALL PEOPLES, CREED AND IDEOLOGY THRU A NIGERIAN PRISM THAN ETHNO-RELIGIOUS SPECTRUM. DID THEY EVER COME ACROSS THE WORD, PATRIOTISM? MUST BE STRANGE FOR THEM. THE CITIZENS THAT MAKE UP THE FOLLOWERSHIP ARE NOT ABSOLVED, THEY ARE AS DISTORTED AS THE LEADERS. THEY EVEN INSTIGATE THEM INTO SOME OF THESE ILL APPROACHES OF GOVERNANCE. CORRUPTION HAS UNITED MORE PEOPLE IN NIGERIA THAN PATRIOTISM, SO FAR THAT I HAVE SEEN THOUGH. |
@Hinwazaka you belong to the recesses of obscurity, the darkest oblivion of hades and gnash teeth with ur Julius Caesar theory. What goes around comes around. |

HOW AND WHO MURDERED LT. BENJAMIN N. EDIM: THE INFAMY OF THE NIGERIAN ARMY. Lt. B. N. Edim was a fine gentleman, dedicated in all his endeavors. To family and to his work which until his murder was uncompromising in his duties. He was allegedly shot dead on Sunday 26th July, 2015 at 12.30pm by soldiers of the 144 Battalion Asa, Abia State who were supposed to be his subordinates and his cover in an operation to rescue an unknown kidnapped victim at Ogunabor LGA in Abia State. Before his gruesome murder he was the (Head of Admin) at 144 Battalion Asa, Abia State, as a result of this position he was well known by all officers and soldiers serving in the battalion. He had diligently served in the North Eastern State of Nigeria, Borno State in the concerted effort to quell the insurgency that has ravaged the State and was recently deployed to Abia State having served beyond the rotational period and extensively in the North East. A development his family and 10 months old wife applauded. Information gathered from a broken hearted, good spirited officer within the barracks who pleaded anonymity, revealed that Lt. B. N. Edim was generally viewed by most of his colleagues as been too dedicated, strict and uncompromising in the discharge of his lawful official assignments. Authorities at 144 Battalion Asa, Abia State informed the family of the deceased that Lt. B. N Edim was allegedly shot dead by his own soldiers because he was not recognized by his own soldiers at an operation in which he was the one who deployed the soldiers to the said assignment. By virtue of his position as Adjutant, Lt. B. N Edim was entitled to a driver but his driver was no where to be found when the operation was to be embarked upon. Hence, he drove himself to the venue of the operation where he met the ground troops already awaiting his arrival. It was reliably gathered within the battalion that the driver was deliberately sent out before the deceased could have wind of his whereabouts. Some observations that are inconsistent with the story of the military are thus: *How friendly is a 'friendly-fire' when it is shot in a rapid succession thereby discharging 6bullets in broad daylight, by the force who are supposed to be kitted in a unique outfit reserved for the army? Hardly a mistaken identity. *12.30pm is broad daylight, no incidents of rainfall, in an environment which is not a dense forest or a rainforest, how then was the killer's visibility? *The Army which maintains a separate intelligence unit do not engage conventional army in undercover operations, how could the shooter not recognize the uniform of his Superior? *The Army is an elite unit of highly trained personnel whom are aware of the dangers of handling a rifle, as such, they owe a strict duty of care to everyone, thus, in an operation where only the deceased took 6shots, did the shooter shoot on impulse at the twitch of his finger? There are no accounts of exchange of fire with the kidnappers. *Is a REGULAR ROUTINE in a kidnap operation similar to a war operation? Is there not a standard operating procedure, rules of engagement? Are there no fears that the kidnapped may be used as a shield, as such, if shot it undermines the rescue intended? Is there no calculation regards collateral damage in such an area inhabited by people? *The term fragging is associated with the crime of subordinates murdering their superiors when the standards are strict, it is a mutinous strategy that involves murder. The deceased was highly moral and uncompromising. He is said to refuse grafts and gifts. In society as Ogunabor LGA in Abia State which is fraught with crime, monies are paid so that authorities would turn a blind eye to these heinous crimes. It is obvious that the deceased will not compromise and thus stood for the highest of moral and disciplinary standards, was this not the motive? *Why was one of the kidnappers shot in the leg and the officer leading the operation shot six times at deliberate vital parts that are sure to only one outcome, death? THESE AND MANY OTHER QUESTIONS BEG FOR ANSWERS. WITH AGED PARENTS AND A YOUNG BRIDE IN HER FINAL SEMESTER TO BE GRADUATED AND BE UNITED AS FAMILY, FRIENDS ARE DEVASTATED AND DISTURBED. WHILE THE AUTHORITIES ARE YET TO EXPLAIN, WE INDULGE THE CONCIOUS NIGERIAN PUBLIC TO SAVE OTHER NOBLE AND UPRIGHT SERVICE MEN WHO WOULD NOT YIELD TO THE FANCIES OF MEN BUT UPHOLD THEIR SWORN OATH TO SERVE AND TO PROTECT OUR DEAR COUNTRY. THE UNCOMPROMISING GENTLEMAN OFFICER THAT WAS KILLED FOR REFUSING TO BEND HIS STANDARDS.

I wish I can upload the young officer s picture. But, it's available on this profile on Facebook, Becky Jang Edim. Successfully served gallantly in Borno State, got married during his stint fighting insurgents in the North East last year September. Just recently transferred to Abia, only to be murdered. Justice from the court is fine but it does not return life. The voice we use in condemning this is better. It will save many well meaning officers. Kindly rebroadcast and tell the story. No one with blame should find a hiding place. |
