Purehuman: Innoson needs to act fast or the Nigerian system will swallow his business. We are trying as much as possible to save many billionaires from going bankrupt due to change in policies and politics. If these guys invests in these sectors we are sharing here, they will be rest assured that come rain, come sun, they are highly protected from penury. I wish the power that be are reading all this wonderful submissions. I wish... |

Swapping old batteries with newer ones. Also the cost will be paid by the renters service fees. Excellent. Then many people will be employed. Is this whites are succeeding? |

Xander85: One route to go is to list your company on the stock exchange. That way you'd be forced to do things differently and even though you may hold controlling stock in the company, you still have to answer to a higher regulatory authority and your shareholders.
I'd love INNOSON to list his company on the stock exchange. He can even use it to raise say an extra $100 million for expansion. It's high time he expands his factory at Nnewi and also spreads to other West African countries. Dangote took loans from many banks to build his refinery in Lagos as well as expand his cement business to other African countries, and part of the reason he can access finance (besides being close to the corridors of power) is that the lenders are satisfied with corporate governance in his conglomerate.
Notice the way GTB and EFCC treated Dr Chukwuma when they claimed he reneged on the conditions for which the loan he borrowed was given? He was rough-handled and his dear wifey even got a slap for his efforts! Now if his company had been a PLC, listed on the Stock Exchange, then the bank and EFCC would not deal with him directly but would have to deal with INNOSON PLC as a corporate entity that can sue and be sued. yes ooo, Innoson group needs to register his business in the stock market for a bigger and better expansion despite his enormous cash. Yes, he has the money but if Dangote group can still source for money despite his weight then Innoson group need to upgrade. All this Keke Napepe been imported from India and China should be producing by the branch of Innoson factory. Can Innoson manufacture light Train coaches except the Engines, Engines can be source outside? |

Xander85: I think where we need to improve on is our mode of running our businesses. The days of the likes of Okoro and sons Nig Ltd, or Ikenna Enterprises, where its all about one man running the show and being a sort of business emperor should give way to businesses that adhere strictly to the basic rudiments of corporate governance and accounting. This was what made Ekene Dilli Chukwu fade into oblivion once the Patriarch of the family Chief Ilodibe passed on. A coy that ordinarily should have grown to be a world-wide conglomerate like the likes of Ford, Disneyland and Coca-Cola. It should naturally have progressed into rail, air and sea transportation ...serving int'l destinations, but was stuck in gear one, and has now faded out of contention.
Thankfully, Igwe Orizu and Dr Uzodike of Cutix cables are preaching the same gospel. Chairman you are not far from the truth, it's all boils down to education but credit should be given to them for creating something out of nothing. Such businesses you are talking about won't just happen because of who we are, everyone want to be over all chairman so that his village people will know when he was in town or not. Africa mentality. Only few people here in Nnewi practice partnership and succeeded others crash before a year in the business because of too many factors. Why is it very difficult for our people to create a brand just like the Americans and Europeans? |

Chai! This thread has already be threading and I'm not aware. Thanks to you Oga Spyder880 for the wonderful pictures you took from Abakaliki and Uburu - Ohaozara axis, truly Dave Umahi is working.
My problems and fears with all this wonderful contributions and plans are Nigerian government who will stop at nothing to ensure the states quo remain.
They can do everything anything to ensure that no meaningful plan or dreams ever comes to reality because by allowing us develop to such an extent will automatically keep our teaming youth busy and the influx to other regions will also be in check. The hatred is mutual. IPOB is a case study. |

NonsoWow: Any attempt to include Anambra in your fake thread because wawa people voted so will be resisted. Anambra and wawa people have nothing in common. Lesser igbos are envious and hateful towards Anambra and will not want to project our supremacy accordingly. Lol@ supremacy... Over who? Ina achara m motor?, your type don't make money in all the market in Anambra state (if at all u know where Anambra state is located ), except for tax force like what we have in NASPA and the rest in ANSEPA as a useful idiotts. Real Anambraians don't have time to harbor such hatred for their fellow countrymen. Here in Nnewi everybody feels at home because real men are busy. |

Xander85: Any reason why we don't have Abia and Ebonyi threads like we have for Imo, Enugu and Anambra? It's like the citizens of these states don't care much for showcasing their states and challenging their state gov'ts where and when necessary like the other three do. I created the said thread immediately spyder88 created this Enugu's thread but the same 'Ndi anaya' rubbishes the thread and I've to abandon it. But very soon I and my fellow Ebonyians will look into it. |

NonsoWow: LOL. You are the one deceiving yourself. Those lines are very real. We Anambra indigenes asked for those lines after seeing how wawa people were slowing our progress with their laziness and envious hearts. Go to Onitsha and hear for yourself the adjectives that Anambra people use to qualify wawa and abakaliki persons. Remain on NL and be deceiving yourself. Bia kitikpa rachaa gi anya for mentioning Abakaliki in ur Egwu surugedee, I've been watching ur nonsense utterances with little patience. Keep fooling ur self that you have arrived. Xander85: I've noticed there's this penchant among our political elite in the SE to closely guard their spheres of influence on a state level, hence they're reluctant to delegate or relinquish any powers to say a centrally-focused and pan-Igbo development agency.
When you hear of this their so called SE governors meeting, it's just to play to the gallery as it were....basically, just to fulfill all righteousness. Nothing tangible ever comes out of these useless meetings! I don't even take this SE governors forum serious because the problems we have here in Nairaland(online) is also being played in real life. Everyone is just about his little state without having a bigger pictures to carry all other Igbo-land along. Until something BIG(whether good or bad) happen to us, nothing will ever change. |

Purehuman: Thank you my brother.
I don't know but if we could really organize an economic summit ourselves. Organize ourselves and teach these governors, senators, rep members, businessmen that we are not after the money they are stealing but the investment those monies will generate in the region.
I can't be the island in this case so I will just the rest and keep shut. Bros you have tried a lot just that this superiority complex in Igbo DNA won't allow such summit to hold. Looking at SE map in Nigeria map, Igbo land is the smallest compare to other regions yet we have too many divisions already within. |

I remember meeting my mum and aunt to tell me all about the list then I told my hubby so he had an idea hat to expect before he got the list though it was higher than what I told him but he new that to marry wasn't child's play before before nau You are very right. That being said, I am from abia, umuahia north precisely. With like 200k one can conclude both men and women list because the who process is negotiable. Many men even when given the wife FOC will still complain. lol@ FOC... that's 'free of charge' I don't even like the free thing abeg. |

I'm from Ezza in Ebonyi state, but in Ebonyi state the bride price varies from community to community, so In my own Ezza community, the biggest pride price is called (afia efi) that is cow price and it still ranges from family to family. Some collet 20k,30 , 50k up till 70k depending on your in law umunna. Every other things na Jara. But 2 goats must follow, so just budget 200k to 300k for the traditional wedding, still it's depends on weight of the wallet of the said guy. |

have you seen achi4u on this thread ? his opinion is really needed here because Bernard odoh hails from ezza likewise him
let him come and tell us the political permutation behind odoh's resignation Sorry Bros. I decided to have some rest for sometime from so many news flying up and down. I wasn't even aware of Bernard Odoh( the SSG) resigning from office because I hardly listen to EBBC or Ebonyi radio given to their wack self glorification of the present administration. The reason for his resignation MUST be from the way things are going on in the state. SSG that was sideline to the mere onlooker. I wish him the best for his future political endeavors. |
